I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Krovitzky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Roll misses the target. Roll looks to land a combination but Krovitzky avoids it well. Roll circles away from the clinch attempt.
Roll throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krovitzky. Krovitzky fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roll to the ground. Krovitzky is now in Roll's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Roll uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Krovitzky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Krovitzky clinches up with Roll and pushes him back against the cage. Roll breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Krovitzky shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Roll counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That will dishearten Krovitzky somewhat. Krovitzky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roll's waist but Roll gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krovitzky off to one side. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krovitzky has a takedown stuffed.

Martain throws a series of punches but Nedroonson moves out of range. Nedroonson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martain manages to avoid it. Martain staying out of range there. Nedroonson thows a body shot but no joy. Good standup being displayed there by Martain as he connects with a hook. Martain throws a right hand that Nedroonson ducks under and follows up with a left that Nedroonson also avoids with ease. Nedroonson throws an overhand right that lands on Martain's shoulder, as Martain tries to avoid the shot. Nedroonson lands a body shot.

Oh, it looks like he might have it! Anderson has picked Gilbert up and slammed him! Gilbert can't keep hold of the triangle and Anderson manages to pass to side control! Anderson swings around for an armbar but Gilbert sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Anderson's guard. Gilbert would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gilbert stands and throws Anderson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gilbert wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy.

Curtis Anderson's cut is getting worse. Nice sprawl there from Anderson as Gilbert shoots in. Gilbert fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Anderson on the side of the head. Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Gilbert moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Anderson! Gilbert continues to tee off on Anderson, landing with a left and a right! Gilbert connects with a right hand that leaves Anderson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Gilbert!

Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. Jackson looks winded! Gouger Throws a clean left jab. Gouger Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Jackson's chin! Jackson crumbles to the ground and Gouger follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Gouger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Damtea but Damtea pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Damtea is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Damtea knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
