The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mudada thows a body shot but no joy. Emelianenko drives through with a takedown into Mudada's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mudada is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mudada wants to sweep but no luck. Mudada keeping moving, preventing Emelianenko from controlling successfully. Emelianenko postures up in Mudada's guard and throws a big left but Mudada blocks it. Emelianenko is looking to work some ground and pound but Mudada has wrist control. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Papy Mudada. Emelianenko wants to clinch but Mudada slips to the side and Mudada counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Emelianenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mudada manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mudada manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dimitrov shoots in but no luck this time. Zhurmedov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dimitrov is looking to stand up but Zhurmedov isn't so interested in that idea. Zhurmedov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dimitrov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zhurmedov has Dimitrov in his guard. Dimitrov is in close to Zhurmedov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dimitrov throws a big elbow that misses. Dimitrov landing with the ground and pound. Dimitrov lands a couple of digs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnoe throws a hook to the side of Einemo's head but Einemo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Einemo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lesnoe misses the shot to the body. Lesnoe moves into range and connects with a jab. Lesnoe misses with a right hand and Einemo counters with a good low kick that Lesnoe was not able to check. Lesnoe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Einemo is fending him off so far but Lesnoe persists. Nope, Einemo circles away and we're back to standing. Lesnoe fails in his attempt to clinch. No joy there for Einemo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lesnoe tries to clinch but fails miserably and Einemo counters with a nice kick to the body. Lesnoe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lesnoe is looking to land body kicks. Lesnoe shoots in looking for a takedown but Einemo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lesnoe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lesnoe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Einemo.

Einemo moves away and avoids it. Einemo keeps the fight on the outside. Lesnoe wants to land a leg kick but Einemo is out of range. Lesnoe tries to clinch and Einemo counters with a stiff right hand. Lesnoe has a takedown stuffed. Lesnoe throws a leg kick and Einemo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reem struggling a bit here. Reem is not content to let Izturis control the position. You can see the frustration on Reem's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Emilio Izturis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Reem trying to remain calm as Izturis controls from the top position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Williams thows a left - swing and a miss! Williams takes a swing at Kelly's ribcage but misses. Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kelly has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it. Kelly lands a slapping body shot.
Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. Williams moves out of range of the strikes. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelly paws at him with a jab and circles away. Williams throws a push kick but Kelly slaps the foot to one side. Kelly fakes the leg kick and cracks Williams in the body. Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kelly looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.

Kelly throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Williams thows a body shot but no joy. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kelly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Williams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Williams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kelly throws out a powerful jab. Kelly lands a front kick. Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. The crowd cheers as Kelly lands an impressive looking overhand right. Williams doesn't seem phased though. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Kelly tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kelly blocks a head kick by Williams.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams connects with a body shot. Williams takes one on the button. Kelly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kelly fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Williams checks it well. Williams takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Williams moves out of range of the leg kick from Kelly. Kelly takes the fight into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kelly lands a right hand that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Nice body punch from Kelly - that landed with a thud.
