The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cruz as he jumps to the side.
Nice sprawl there from Tate as Cruz shoots in.
Tate shoots in for a takedown but Cruz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cruz tries a knee to the head but Tate blocks it.

Tate turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tate manages to end up in side control.

Tate tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tate has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tate drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cruz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cruz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cruz!

A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bam Blimm was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Blimm throws a combination. Creed tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Blimm throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Blimm throws a shot to the body.
Creed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Blimm throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Creed stumbling backwards into the cage! Creed bounces back off the cage towards Blimm, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Blimm lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Blimm celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Margera comes into the arena with Slacker blaring out of the sound system. Just is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Intriguing Possibilities- Trent Reznor.
