Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Deurell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lerba Schmeizel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmeizel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Zorba the Greek. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmeizel misses with a body punch

and Deurell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Schmeizel's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Deurell wants to pass the guard but Schmeizel is keeping the position.
Deurell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Schmeizel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deurell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
