The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kean fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ozeki sprawls well initially but Kean persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kean is thwarting Ozeki's attempts to control the position. Kean is looking to take a break and control but Ozeki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kean with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ozeki is staying active underneath Kean, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We're going to have a standup here because Daniel Kean wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kean takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ozeki scores with a jab to the head.
Kean is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ozeki throws a lazy right hand but Kean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Oh Kean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ozeki throws out the jab. Kean seems to have got his legs back now. Kean shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ozeki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ozeki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ozeki looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ozeki is on top in guard.
Kean tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kean wants to get back to his feet but Ozeki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kean keeping moving, preventing Ozeki from controlling successfully. Kean is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ozeki defends well. Ozeki's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Ozeki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Seigi Ozeki wasn't active enough on the ground. Ozeki lands a glancing blow to the side of Kean's head. Kean throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ozeki tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kean is in Ozeki's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Ozeki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ozeki keeping moving, preventing Kean from controlling successfully. Kean wants to pass the guard but Ozeki is keeping the position. Ozeki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ozeki working a defensive guard here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kean dives in and scores a takedown into Ozeki's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ozeki holds on and takes a little breather. Ozeki is looking to stand up but Kean isn't so interested in that idea. Ozeki trying to keep a closed guard but Kean is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kean wants to stand but Ozeki has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kean slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Seigi Ozeki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kean darts in and clinches Ozeki up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ozeki wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kean jumps guard but Ozeki turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ozeki keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kean's efforts to push away. Kean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kean takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ozeki connects with a looping right hand.
Ozeki throws a monster overhand right that drops Kean! Ozeki follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews shoots in and gets a takedown into Nickoson's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nickoson pulls Andrews in close to prevent any damage.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Nickoson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. No luck with that takedown attempt from Andrews. Andrews misses with a takedown and Nickoson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Andrews won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Andrews's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nickoson happy to just control the position for now. Andrews is trying to get back to half guard. Nickoson advances to full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrews is bucking up trying to escape but Nickoson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Nickoson landing strikes from the mount and Andrews is in trouble! Nickoson controlling his opponent. Nickoson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Andrews's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nickoson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Andrews can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nickoson blocks Andrews's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Nickoson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrews tries to lock up and control but Nickoson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Andrews is wriggling around trying to escape.
Andrews is breathing heavily. Nickoson lands a heavy elbow. Nickoson is in the full mount, landing strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nickoson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nickoson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nickoson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Nickoson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Nickoson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andrews looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nickoson is fending him off so far but Andrews persists. Nope, Nickoson circles away and we're back to standing. Andrews closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nickoson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Andrews wants to stand and escape but instead Nickoson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Nickoson is working Andrews over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bryan Nickoson has got the better of the ground game so far. Nickoson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Andrews fails with the takedown. Nickoson clinches up with Andrews and pushes him back against the cage. Andrews's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nickoson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nickoson wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trav Dogg Andrews. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nickoson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nickoson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nickoson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Nickoson is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andrews has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nickoson is working away from the top position though. Nickoson wants to free his trapped foot but Andrews is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Nickoson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nickoson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

But Andrews has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Andrews! Andrews trying to control the position from guard on top but Nickoson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nickoson pulls Andrews in close to prevent any damage. Bryan Nickoson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Andrews's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Good leg kick by Andrews there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nickoson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Andrews closes the distance and lands a one-two. Andrews misses the shot to the body. Andrews throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nickoson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Trav Dogg Andrews is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Andrews doesn't manage to clinch there - Nickoson circles away.
Andrews takes a swing at Nickoson's ribcage but misses. Andrews is looking to clinch but Nickoson is avoiding it.
Andrews tries a head kick but it misses.
Andrews throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nickoson's waist but Nickoson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andrews off to one side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nickoson rushes Andrews with punches - Andrews moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Andrews goes down! Nickoson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
