And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belliveau throws a good cross that connects.
Belliveau misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Belliveau.
Belliveau turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Belliveau waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith.
Belliveau fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smith on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Belliveau swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Belliveau fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Belliveau scores with a shot to the body.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Belliveau.
Belliveau changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Belliveau throws a big shot that misses.
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Belliveau scoring well with a low kick there.
Belliveau scores with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belliveau throws a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Belliveau fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Smith looks winded!
Smith is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Belliveau.

It looks like Gunner Smith has been cut.
Belliveau scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Smith is rocked!
Belliveau lands a brutal uppercut that launches Smith off his feet! Smith tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steve Belliveau!
After winning the bout, Steve Belliveau thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilcon throws a jab but it's blocked by Burhani.

Wilcon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Burhani quickly recovers to half guard.
Wilcon prevents Burhani from improving his position.
Burhani is staying active underneath Wilcon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Burhani gets full guard.
Wilcon postures up.
Wilcon looking to sit in guard and control but Burhani gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Burhani trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilcon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Burhani thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Burhani wants to control from the top but Wilcon keeps moving.

Burhani drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Burhani jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wilcon wants to sweep here but Burhani controlling him for the moment.
Burhani passes into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wilcon is staying active underneath Burhani, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilcon tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Burhani has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Burhani trying to control but Wilcon is having none of it.
Burhani wants to take Wilcon's back but he can't do it this time.

Wilcon is squirming around, avoiding Burhani's attempts to control the action.
Burhani seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Wilcon is holding on tight.
Wilcon is working to get back to half guard.
Burhani trying to control but Wilcon is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Osama Burhani dominated that round.
That's time! Burhani's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Burhani misses with a two punch combination.
Burhani gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Wilcon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Burhani working for a triangle but Wilcon defends it easily.
Burhani really is a fat lump.

Burhani has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wilcon doesn't defend quickly enough and Burhani has managed to lock this one up! Can Wilcon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Burhani on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armack tries to land a leg kick but Gustav saw it coming and moves away.
Armack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gustav circles away quickly and effectively.

Gustav gets caught flat footed, as Armack shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Armack missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Armack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gustav swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gustav is adopting a defensive guard.
Armack wants to stand but Gustav has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Armack wants to control from the top but Gustav keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Armack shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Armack moves nicely into side control.
Armack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gustav keeps working.
Gustav is trying to get back to half guard.

Armack is looking to take a break and control but Gustav is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gustav can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee asks Armack politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Armack prefers to stall for the moment though.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Armack trying to control the position but Gustav is working away.
Gustav might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gustav tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Armack presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Gustav wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Armack.

Armack looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Poor strikes thrown by Armack there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gustav wants to control but Armack is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rodney Armack dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Armack scores with a hook to the body. Gustav takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gustav avoids the head kick by Armack.

Gustav drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rodney Armack has got the better of the ground game so far.

Gustav is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Armack has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gustav is looking to defend but Armack has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gustav! Armack pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gustav taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuinness.

Smith cracks McGuinness with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smith has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGuinness to stand back up!

It looks like Paddy McGuinness has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith lands a left hand that snaps the head of McGuinness backwards.

Smith breaks the clinch.
McGuinness throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McGuinness just misses with a punch to the body.

Smith lands a big right hand that sends McGuinness crashing to the mat! Smith stays standing though and waves McGuinness back to his feet!

McGuinness is rocked!

Paddy McGuinness's cut is getting worse.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Smith engages and cracks McGuinness with a massive lead left hook - McGuinness tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Smith is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bobby Smith!
