I think Kroczaleski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Era-Enea Vollare Mezzo. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darius Grimshaw! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kroczaleski misses with a low kick. Kroczaleski stuffs the takedown. Grimshaw defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kroczaleski. Grimshaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Kroczaleski sprawls well. He's pushed Grimshaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grimshaw. Mark Kroczaleski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Grimshaw. Grimshaw moves into the clinch. Grimshaw is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Kroczaleski can't fight it off and eventually Grimshaw manages to take the fight to the floor. Kroczaleski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Grimshaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Kroczaleski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grimshaw avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kroczaleski wants to hit a switch here but Grimshaw passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kroczaleski there!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Darius Grimshaw hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Grimshaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kroczaleski's waist but Kroczaleski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grimshaw off to one side. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kroczaleski shoots for a double leg takedown but Grimshaw sprawls well. He's pushed Kroczaleski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck for Grimshaw with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grimshaw. Mark Kroczaleski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Grimshaw. Grimshaw shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kroczaleski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Grimshaw tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The ground and pound from Grimshaw seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kroczaleski wants to control but Grimshaw postures up. Grimshaw in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Grimshaw looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Grimshaw wants to stand but Kroczaleski is controlling his arm. Grimshaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kroczaleski keeps working. Kroczaleski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kroczaleski tries to get out of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paderes throws a nice outside leg kick. Gabriel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gabriel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paderes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Paderes instigates a clinch. Gabriel trying to stall but Paderes improves his position.
Gabriel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Paderes just stands there and leans against the ropes. Paderes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Gabriel trying to control the position.
Paderes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Paderes scoring with some ground and pound. Paderes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gabriel has his feet on Paderes's thighs here. He's pushed Paderes off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Paderes screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Green moves out of range of the strikes. Joel misses with an uppercut
and Green counters with a nice uppercut. Green lands an overhand right. Joel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Green throws a good cross that connects.
A big right from Joel misses. Joel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Joel there as he acknowledges the shot. Joel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Green does it's job there. Green connects with a body shot. Joel rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Green counter with a right hand. Green plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Joel throws a leg kick but Green sees it coming and checks it nicely. Joel looks to land a right hand but Green moved out of range. Joel misses with a hook. Green ducked under it nicely. Green with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green throws a nice inside leg kick. Green throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Joel has eaten all the pies! Green cracks a nice hook into Joel's ribs. Green throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab lands there for Green. Joel misses with an uppercut. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Green.

and Green counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Joel is lucky that one didn't land flush. Green throws a nice outside leg kick. Joel is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Joel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Green. Green scores with a spinning back kick! Green misses with a few strikes there.
Green lets loose with a powerful body kick. Joel will feel that in the morning. Green throws a good cross that connects.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Joel - just one landing. Joel takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Joel throws a nice inside leg kick. A jab from Green finds it's way through Joel's defenses. Joel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Green is out of range. Joel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Green thumps Joel with a low kick. Green misses the shot to the body. Joel takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Joel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Green is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Green scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Joel jabbing away but nothing is landing. Whack! Green lands a heavy head kick that drops Joel. The ref tackles Green to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Joel was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fux ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fux instigates a clinch. Antoine tries for a takedown but Fux manages to get underhooks.
Fux jumps guard and drags Antoine to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Antoine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fux's guard. Fux is trying to maintain the position but Antoine is very close to passing his half guard. Antoine content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Antoine is looking to take a break and control but Fux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fux is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makatua thows a left - swing and a miss! Sione Makatua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Makatua listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The crowd cheers as Makatua lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brady doesn't seem phased though. Brady loads up on a big right hand but Makatua slips the punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Makatua misses with a straight right. Makatua lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brady at a distance.
Brady throws a big shot that misses. Makatua scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Makatua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Makatua steps into range and cracks Brady with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Brady flops backwards and Makatua dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Cam Brady has been cut. Brady keeping full guard, as Makatua tries to pass. Brady is still in real trouble! Can Makatua finish him? Makatua trying to move into half guard but instead Brady has managed to sweep! Brady seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brady postures up in Makatua's guard and throws a big left but Makatua blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brady accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brady postures up.
Brady engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Brady throwing strikes from guard but Makatua blocks nicely. Makatua working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brady.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makatua preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Brady trying to control the position from guard on top but Makatua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brady's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Makatua keeping full guard, as Brady tries to pass. Brady content to stall in guard here. Brady is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Makatua can't keep his opponent in guard - Brady advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Makatua keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Brady slows the pace down in half guard. Brady working Makatua over with strikes. Brady looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Makatua avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brady. Brady keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Brady prevents Makatua from improving his position. Brady is nestled in close to Makatua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brady lands a nice short elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brady looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brady thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Makatua's head. Makatua taking some punishment here, with Brady in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sione Makatua will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Cam Brady's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Makatua loads up on a big right hand but Brady slips the punch. Makatua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brady doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A left and a right from Makatua both land. Nice combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Makatua misses with a looping right. Makatua uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brady.
Brady keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Makatua. A telegraphed right hand from Makatua misses the target. Makatua steps into range and cracks Brady with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Brady flops backwards and Makatua dives into his guard looking to finish!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Makatua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Makatua with a body punch. A glancing blow. Makatua throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brady. Brady closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Makatua did well to prevent Brady getting side control. Brady not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brady thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makatua on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Makatua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brady on the ground. Brady missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Brady looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brady is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Brady looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Makatua with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Brady scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Brady takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Brady working some ground and pound from close in. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson works over Raines's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Reno Raines has been cut. Raines misses the shot to the body. Thompson just misses with a punch to the body.
