Breeze doesn't succeed with the takedown letting The Impaler counter with a right hand. The Impaler gets caught flat footed, as Breeze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Narcizo Thomas has got the better of the ground game so far. Thomas postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Greggers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thomas is working away from the top position though. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thomas connects with a nice short shot to Greggers's temple. Thomas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Greggers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thomas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hooke connects with a body shot. Hooke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Hooke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hooke. Hooke lands an overhand right. Blake takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hooke lands a lovely overhand right. Thomas Hooke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice straight punches there by Hooke. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hooke.
It looks like Ethan Blake has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blake with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hooke to score with a decent uppercut. Blake takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
