Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kshitij Singh Negi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Tyson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh Negi drives through with a takedown into Tyson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tyson can't keep his opponent in guard - Singh Negi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Singh Negi trying to control the pace. Tyson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Singh Negi is trying to control the action in half guard but Tyson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson is trying to escape back to his feet but Singh Negi uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson is looking for a sweep. Singh Negi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tyson! Singh Negi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tyson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Singh Negi holds on and takes a little breather. Singh Negi striking off his back but it's not causing Tyson any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh Negi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Singh Negi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tyson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Singh Negi can't do much from the bottom here. Singh Negi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Singh Negi manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh Negi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Singh Negi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tyson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Singh Negi. Singh Negi is looking for a sweep. Singh Negi struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh Negi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Singh Negi tries to escape but Tyson is in control. Tyson wants to stand but Singh Negi is controlling his arm. Singh Negi is trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Singh Negi is working hard here to advance position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kshitij Singh Negi dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tyson scores with a hook to the body. Singh Negi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sloppy strikes from Singh Negi. Those never looked like landing. Singh Negi throws a jab when Tyson was well out of range. Singh Negi takes the fight into the clinch. Tyson wants to break free but Singh Negi has control.
Singh Negi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tyson blocks it with crossed arms. Singh Negi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Tyson trying to keep a closed guard but Singh Negi is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh Negi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tyson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Singh Negi trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Singh Negi passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Singh Negi trying to control the action but Tyson is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh Negi prevents Tyson from escaping the position. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Singh Negi here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Singh Negi stands up and we're back to a striking position. Singh Negi shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense. Tyson misses with a body kick. Tyson scores with a jab. Singh Negi acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tyson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Singh Negi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Singh Negi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Tyson.
Singh Negi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tyson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Singh Negi's head. Singh Negi fails with a takedown attempt. Kshitij Singh Negi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Singh Negi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tyson.
Singh Negi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Singh Negi has closed the distance and engaged Tyson in a clinch.
Tyson breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jab from Tyson. Tyson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Singh Negi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kshitij Singh Negi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tyson lands a jab to the nose. This has been an exciting period of action! Singh Negi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nice sprawl there from Tyson as Singh Negi shoots in. Singh Negi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tyson scores with the left hand. Singh Negi knows he should have avoided that one.
Singh Negi is rocked! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson misses with a low kick.
Singh Negi closes the distance and clinches up with Tyson, looking for a takedown. Singh Negi pushes Tyson against the cage but Tyson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tyson scores with a one two! Singh Negi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Oh Singh Negi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice takedown defense from Tyson. No joy for Singh Negi on that attempt. Tyson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Singh Negi! Tyson dives in looking to finish! Singh Negi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
