Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kosti Lom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Vengrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lom might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bahh Tee. Vengrio has chosen Muay Thai as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vengrio takes one on the chin but seems OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vengrio takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vengrio throws a head kick but Lom moves out of range.
Vengrio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lom moves away.
Lom misses with a double jab.

Lom sends Vengrio crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lom is motioning to the referee to let Vengrio up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Vengrio jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Lom rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vengrio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Vengrio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lom swings for the body but Vengrio moves out of range.
Lom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vengrio.
Vengrio is pawing at Lom, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lom's nose. Lom is badly hurt! Vengrio pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lom tries desperately to hold on but Vengrio is relentless in his assault! As Lom receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Vengrio away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arthur Vengrio! Arthur Vengrio retains his heavyweight title!
After the big win, Arthur Vengrio made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Ultra Fight Gear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
