2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, El Loco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Willis! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Loco shoots in and bounces Willis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Willis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Loco wants to pass the guard but Willis is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loco passes Willis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Loco trying to control the action but Willis is working from the bottom. Loco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Willis wants to improve his position but Loco is controlling well.
Loco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis is refusing to be controlled, as Loco sits in half guard. Loco passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Willis! Willis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
It looks like Rick Willis has been cut. Loco goes for an armbar but Willis turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Willis. Willis tries to free his leg and advance position but Loco is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco trying to keep a closed guard but Willis is proving a slippery customer.
Willis has gone for a leg lock! Loco slips out almost immediately though and dives into Willis's guard. Loco pushes down on Willis's leg and manages to get into half guard. Loco throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Willis is staying active underneath Loco, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco tries to pass to full mount but Willis defends it. Loco not landing any meaningful shots this time. Willis trying to hold on to Loco's head to control him but Loco postures up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Willis manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Loco looking to sit in guard and control but Willis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Willis passes Loco's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Loco trying to hold on to Willis's head to control him but Willis postures up.
Loco is breathing heavily. Loco looking for submissions off his back. Willis is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Loco has managed to free his arm - good work. Loco is defending against the submission attempts here by Willis.

Willis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Loco manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Loco keeping moving, preventing Willis from controlling successfully. Loco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Loco throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Willis advances to half guard. Willis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Loco is looking to control Willis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Loco avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis is pressing down on Loco's thigh, looking to free his foot. Loco is holding on for now. Loco is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Loco is looking to escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Willis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Loco wants to control but Willis is keeping busy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Loco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willis works his way to full guard. Good work. Willis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Willis keeping full guard, as Loco tries to pass. Willis wants to sweep but no luck. Willis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Loco's guard. Loco keeping moving, preventing Willis from controlling successfully. Loco utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Willis pushes down on Loco's leg and manages to get into half guard. Willis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Willis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Loco looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Willis stops Loco from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Willis is working for a kimura but Loco is defending it quite comfortably.
Willis trying to control from half guard but Loco is working away. Willis seems to be working for a kimura but Loco defends the submission attempt. Willis wants to work for an arm triangle but Loco is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Willis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Loco looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Willis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Willis avoids the attempt from Loco to control. Loco has given up his back. Will we see Willis going for some submissions?

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Willis tightening his grip on Loco, looking for the choke. Loco just trying to survive but Willis is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Willis keeps control of the position as Loco tries to break free.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Willis is cranking Loco's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Loco! He's tightened the choke and Loco is tapping out!

Left hook, right uppercut from Carmelon. Wilson shoots in but Carmelon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wilson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Carmelon drops Wilson with a beautiful combination! Wilson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carmelon is looking for the KO!
Wilson is rocked! Carmelon sends Wilson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carmelon is motioning to the referee to let Wilson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Carmelon has cracked Wilson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Carmelon lands another huge swinging hook and Wilson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Wilson, before Carmelon can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Guy scores with a four punch combination! D swats away the attempt to clinch by Guy. D dodges the punch combination from Guy.
Guy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Guy. Guy misses with a two punch combination.

Guy moves into range and connects with a jab. Guy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but D moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Guy clinches. Guy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Guy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Guy scores with a shoulder strike. Guy scores with an uppercut up the middle.

D tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no D has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! D trying to control the action but Guy is working from the bottom.

D shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Guy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Guy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. D stacks Guy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by D! D is trying to get an arm triangle but Guy is defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guy can do anything to dispel that myth.

D is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Guy is forced to tap! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brinks tries to bum rush Supreme with a series of wild strikes but Supreme uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brinks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brinks missing with a left hand there. Supreme was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Supreme is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Supreme lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brinks circles away quickly and effectively. Supreme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brinks moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brinks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Supreme counters with a big head kick but Brinks shrugs it off. Brinks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Supreme counters with a one-two to the body. Brinks swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Supreme counters with a nice uppercut.
Brinks is rocked! Supreme lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Brinks - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Supreme!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lucien actively working from the bottom here. Quinn tries to pass to full mount but Lucien defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Quinn connects with a nice short shot to Lucien's temple. Lucien looking for a kimura from the bottom but Quinn passes into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A bit of a lull in the action. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tank misses with a series of wild punches.
Le Pew shoots in and drives through. Tank sprawls well. Le Pew throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tank's waist but Tank gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Le Pew off to one side. Tank scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Pepe Le Pew has been cut. Tank misses with a double jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tank darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Le Pew could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Le Pew fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice jab there from Tank. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tank misses with a series of wild punches.
Tank throws a series of punches but Le Pew moves out of range. Tank throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Le Pew stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Le Pew takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Le Pew is breathing heavily. Tank bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Le Pew's head. Tank lands a big uppercut and Le Pew crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Le Pew looks OK. Tank waves Le Pew back to his feet!
Pepe Le Pew's cut is getting worse. Are you kidding me?! Tank ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Le Pew clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Black has his takedown stuffed enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. Black fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Black persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Black lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Black landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Black stops Jones from getting back to his feet.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herbie Hide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Clement (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clement has chosen Shutterbug- by Big Boi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Theo Clement told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Herbie Hide! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Theo Clement! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clement finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Hide. That snapped Clement's head back.
Clement attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hide shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hide cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Clement tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hide raining down shots from the mount! Clement is looking to improve his position but Hide isn't that keen on the idea. Hide is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hide extends the arm and Clement is forced to tap!
