The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foolio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grifin.
Grifin shoots in looking for a takedown. Foolio tries to sprawl out of it but Grifin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Foolio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The strikes coming from Oliveira are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Batista tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Oliveira wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oliveira works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
You can see the frustration on Batista's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Oliveira has hold of Batista's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Batista tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oliveira cranks the arm and Batista screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Batista, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Field shoots for a takedown but Moreno saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Moreno moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Field takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
