2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Jelly! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelly misses with a takedown and Raban counters with a nice kick to the body. Jelly moves out of range of the body kick from Raban.
Crunch! Raban slams his shin into Jelly's torso. Jelly with a poor takedown and Raban counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Raban connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jelly fails with the takedown and Raban counters with a nice leg kick. James Raban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Jelly. Raban throws a big shot that misses. Jelly tries for a takedown but Raban circles away easily and Raban counters with a good, hard body kick but Jelly shrugs it off.

Ordona throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Waby controls the position for a moment. Ordona looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ordona has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Waby! Ordona looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Waby is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Waby really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ordona really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Waby tries to lock up and control but Ordona gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ordona is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Waby has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Waby! Waby must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Waby wants to get up but he can't break Ordona's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Waby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ordona can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Waby is looking to escape. Waby is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Waby should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Waby really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Waby is working away from the top position though. Waby is looking to take a break and control but Ordona is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ordona is looking to control Waby's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ordona avoid being mounted? Waby wants to take a breather but Ordona is having none of it. Waby wants to stand but Ordona has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Waby is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Ordona is desperately trying to improve his position but Waby has a good base and remains in mount. Ordona is working hard here to advance position.

Waby got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ordona has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Waby has managed to get both his arms back between Ordona's legs - danger averted. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ordona controls Waby momentarily but Waby frees himself. Ordona isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Waby stacks Ordona on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Waby!
And that's the end of the fight! Scott Waby comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Waby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
