The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sairuko tries to clinch but Massa is having none of it. Sairuko lands a high kick!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Massa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sairuko letting Massa take a breather here. Rhababer thows a body shot but no joy. Shibata throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Shibata blocks a low kick nicely. Rhababer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Shibata pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Shibata throws an overhand right that lands on Rhababer's shoulder, as Rhababer tries to avoid the shot. Rhababer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Shibata throws a head kick that misses. Shibata throws a head kick but Rhababer moves out of range.
Shibata pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A bone on bone clash there as Rhababer blocks the leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhababer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Shibata throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A bone on bone clash there as Rhababer blocks the leg kick.
Rhababer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Shibata misses with a leg kick. Gabriel Rhababer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rhababer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shibata's guard. Rhababer passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shibata with the active half guard here but Rhababer passes nicely into side control. Rhababer advances nicely into full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Katsuyori Shibata comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rhababer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bassiki pushes Negan up against the cage in a clinch. Bassiki swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Negan. Negan putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bassiki in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Bassiki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Negan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Negan manages to end up in side control. Bassiki throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Bassiki throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Bassiki gets back to half guard. Negan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bassiki throws a strike from the bottom but Negan passes into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Negan has knee on belly and moves into mount. Negan has isolated one of Bassiki's arms. Bassiki looking to fight him off but Negan twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Philip Negan! Philip Negan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Montoro looks to clinch but Vorenus throws a short knee that drops Montoro. This one is all over!

Severn throws a powerful right kick. Macarenco tried to block low but the kick was high! Macarenco was taken right off of his feet! Severn jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
