The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pitoy misses with a wild combination.
Luck is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pitoy takes the fight into the clinch. Luck tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pitoy is working Luck over against the cage. Pitoy manages to break the clinch.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Pitoy has cracked Luck with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Pitoy lands another huge swinging hook and Luck tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Luck, before Pitoy can land any more shots!

Jendri Pitoy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durst defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Heed. Durst pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Durst keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Heed closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Durst quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durst looks like he's trying to stand up.
Heed thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Still in half guard, Heed seems content to control. Durst blocking the ground and pound attempt from Heed. Heed thows a huge punch but Durst dodges it nicely.

Durst is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Heed!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Phoenix slows the pace down in half guard. Phoenix's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
