Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a looping right.
Sim with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sim - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sim. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Brown throws a sloppy body shot
and Sim counters with a nice leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Sim.
Brown takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sim takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Brown fails with a takedown attempt.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sim!
Tony Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sim stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sim.

Sim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sim moves away from the strike by Brown.
Sim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Sim which made him look bad.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Brown will probably get the nod.

Sim feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brown.

Sim is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brown has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sim is looking to defend but Brown has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sim! Brown pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sim taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Escobar. That's going to slow Jacobs down.
Jacobs takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jacobs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Escobar swivels and escapes.
Escobar scores with a hook to the body. Jacobs takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A combination from Escobar does no damage.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Escobar, as that shot connected.

Jacobs manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Escobar on his heels. He'll look to pass Escobar's guard now, I'm sure.
Jacobs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Escobar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Escobar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacobs manages to get himself to full guard.
