Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Lang counters with a three punch combo that has Ricardo backing up. Ricardo nods at Lang to acknowledge the strikes.
Ricardo tries to bum rush Lang with a series of wild strikes but Lang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ricardo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ricardo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lang counters with a three punch combo that has Ricardo backing up. Ricardo nods at Lang to acknowledge the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Macho Man lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Pettis quite badly. Pettis pulls Macho Man in close trying to recover. Macho Man postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Pettis on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Pettis doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Mir lands with a kick to the temple. Hunt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Foster tries to clinch but Stark moves out of range.
Foster wants to clinch.
Foster lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Eddard Stark has been cut.
Stark looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Foster has taken the fight to the clinch.
Foster lands a hook to the side of the head.
Foster pushes Stark back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Foster lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Foster lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Stark backwards.

Stark is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foster lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Oh Stark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Foster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Foster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Foster rushes Stark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stark has Foster pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Foster manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Foster stops a takedown attempt from Stark.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddard Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Foster lands with a right to the head.

Foster breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stark on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Foster lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Foster prevents a takedown attempt there.

Foster softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Foster creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Stark's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Stark drops to his knees and Foster pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stoned.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Banks takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Stoned remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Stoned in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The strikes coming from Stoned are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Stoned is trying to get an arm triangle but Banks is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Banks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Banks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stoned. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stoned has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Banks can't do much from the bottom here.
Stoned working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Banks has left one of his arms exposed and Stoned doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Banks screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
