The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ham throws a series of punches but Hung avoids them all with ease.
Decent striking displayed by Hung there.

It looks like Steven Ham has been cut.
Hung slips under a jab from Ham.
Sloppy strikes from Hung. Those never looked like landing.
Ham cracks Hung with a good jab.

Ham connects with the punch.

Hung throws a poor cross that misses
and Ham counters with a stiff right hand.
A slow jab from Ham misses its intended target.
Hung throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hung throws out a loose jab but Ham uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hung moves out of range of the strikes.
Ham throws a looping overhand right but Hung ducks down to avoid it.

Ham takes one on the button.
Hung tests Ham's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ham takes one to the chin there.

That has opened up Steven Ham's cut even more.
Ham stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Victor Hung has been cut.
Hung misses with a straight right.

Ham uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hung.
Ham moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hung fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ham on the side of the head.

Ham looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The cut above Steven Ham's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Some wild striking there from Hung.
Ham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hung.
Hung rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ham counters with a left and a right that stings Hung.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice defenses there by Hung.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Hung dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Hung counters with a left and a right that stings Ham.
Hung takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Steven Ham's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
No joy there for Ham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ham missing with a left hand there. Hung was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hung loads up on a big right hand but Ham slips the punch.
Ham looks to land a combination but Hung avoids it well.

Chun throws a lazy right hand but Tran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chun connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Chun scores with a three punch combo!
Chun looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tran staying out of range there.

Chun slips under a jab.
Chun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tran.
Chun throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tran.
A jab from Chun misses.
Chun slips a jab and a cross from Tran.
Chun clobbers Tran with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Chun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Billy Chun has been cut.
Tran blocks a jab.
Tran's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chun connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tran scrambles back to his feet.
A lazy left from Chun finds it's target.
Chun waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tran.
Tran moves out of range as Chun strikes.

Tran is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chun.
Chun blocks a jab.
Chun could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Chun fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Chun misses with a looping right.
Tran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tran defending well as Chun loads up on a big left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tran throws a looping overhand right but Chun ducks down to avoid it.

Tran lands a big right hand that sends Chun crashing to the mat! Tran stays standing though and waves Chun back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tran throws a jab when Chun was well out of range.
Chun throws out a loose jab but Tran uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tran circles away quickly and effectively.

Tran slips a jab from Chun.
Tran steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chun.

Tran lands a big uppercut and Chun crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Chun looks OK. Tran waves Chun back to his feet!

Billy Chun's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chun throws an overhand right that lands on Tran's shoulder, as Tran tries to avoid the shot.

Chun thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tran lands a really nice looking cross but Chun seems unphased.

Billy Chun's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chun slips under a jab.
Tran looks to land a left hand but Chun moved out of range nicely.
A slow jab from Tran misses its intended target.

Chun steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tran.
Chun uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tran.
Chun is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Chun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Chun might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Tran uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chun.
Tran misses with an uppercut
and Chun counters with a two punch combo.
Nice defenses there by Tran.
