Mitchell goes for a small jab and connects. Now Mitchell goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Idol stumbles back but Mitchell runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Idol to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Idol will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tony Soprano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kimimaro shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Kimimaro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
