 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
 It looks like Okan Topal has been cut. Max Dawson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawson drops Topal with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Topal looks back up at him and smiles so Dawson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
 Topal is rocked! Dawson throws a head kick that misses. Topal is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawson finish him? Dawson throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Topal crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mongol shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense.
Mongol decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mongol is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rua doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mongol.
Mongol decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Rua moves in looking to clinch but Mongol pushes him off. Rua digs a good hook to Mongol's body.
Rua throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action! Mongol dodges the punch combination from Rua.
Rua shoots and misses
and Mongol counters with a single leg into guard. Rua didn't expect that. Mongol prevents Rua from getting back to his feet. Rua looking for a sweep. Not yet Rua, not yet. Mongol postures up and lands a big shot to Rua's brow.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alexander swats him away and circles back towards the center. Some wild striking there from Alexander.
Quinton Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Evans is looking to clinch.
Evans gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Evans is looking to break free of the clinch but Alexander has double underhooks. Alexander tries for a takedown. No joy.
Alexander pushes Evans back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Alexander swings wildly with an uppercut but Evans uses good head movement to avoid it.

Alexander jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Evans manages to avoid the submission attempt. Evans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexander. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alexander thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Alexander working the ground and pound but Evans is defending the strikes. Evans takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Alexander postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Evans is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Alexander keeps the fight on the outside. Alexander fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Evans manages to avoid it. Alexander avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Evans takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Evans gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alexander to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Alexander drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Alexander seems to have locked his on tight now - Evans screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Alexander, as he picks up the win!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iuri shoots in for a takedown but the tank shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Iuri looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
the tank darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. the tank scores with a couple of good hammerfists. the tank trying to control from half guard but Iuri is working away. the tank is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. the tank trying to control the action but Iuri is working from the bottom. the tank lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Iuri is trying to defend against the ground and pound but the tank scores with a couple of nice shots. the tank controlling the action here. the tank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. the tank seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Iuri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kronic takes the fight into the clinch. Kronic comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Lighting is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kronic lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
 It looks like George Lighting has been cut. Kronic with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kronic. Kronic clinches but Lighting breaks the clinch
and Lighting counters with a single leg into guard. Kronic didn't expect that. Lighting throws and elbow that misses. Kronic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lighting's guard. Nice move by Kronic! Kronic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kronic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lighting is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kronic defends well.

Lighting escapes and gets back to his feet. Lighting throws a hook but Kronic avoids it easily. Lighting slips a jab and a cross from Kronic.

Kronic throws a nice outside leg kick. Nate Kronic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lighting looks gassed! Kronic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kronic. Lighting tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kronic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lighting somewhat. Kronic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kronic throws a sloppy head kick and Lighting moves out of range easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Reyes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rustow, who protects the arm well. Rustow is pushing Reyes's head away, looking to escape. Reyes manages to hold on to the position though.
