The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stud closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hawkwing did well to prevent Stud getting side control.
Stud seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hawkwing does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stud wants to stand up but Hawkwing is controlling the position.
Hawkwing has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stud is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ground and pound from Stud.

Stud wants to stand but Hawkwing is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hawkwing is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Stud has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hawkwing to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stud is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hawkwing pulls down on the head and he's put Stud to sleep! This one is all over!

Cawk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
