0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Ferrell! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrell has his takedown stuffed and Douglas counters with a good low kick that Ferrell was not able to check. Ferrell feints and as Douglas raises his hands in defense, Ferrell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ferrell controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Douglas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ferrell. Douglas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Douglas is looking to stand up but Ferrell isn't so interested in that idea. Ferrell throwing strikes but missing. Douglas wants to stand and escape but Ferrell is having none of it. Ferrell trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Douglas manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrell throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Ferrell wants to hit a switch here but Douglas passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ferrell there! Douglas landing strikes from the mount and Ferrell is in trouble! Douglas throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ferrell can do anything to dispel that myth. Ferrell taking shots to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ferrell is squirming around, avoiding Douglas's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferrell tries to hold on but Douglas pushes him away. Douglas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ker tries to clinch but Davenport is having none of it. Ker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Davenport. Davenport connects with a high kick. Ker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davenport sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ker somewhat. Davenport fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Ker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Davenport scores with a leg kick.
Davenport throws a head kick that half lands.
Ker is rocked! Ker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Davenport counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Ker! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Will Davenport! During a confident post fight interview, Will Davenport thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pray shoots in and bounces George off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Pray controls from within his opponent's guard. George avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pray's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pray is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pray stays in close to George's body and controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lay Pray wasn't doing enough on the ground. Pray scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pray controls the position from side control. Pray creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

A lull in the action here as Pray stalls from top position. Pray scores with a couple of short elbows. George looks winded! Pray taking a breather here. Pray has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

No, George has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Check out the look on Pray's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Malone throws a head kick that misses. Malone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Malone tries to clinch but Myles is having none of it. Myles throws a right hand that Malone ducks under and follows up with a left that Malone also avoids with ease. Myles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown but Breivik manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cruz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cruz leaves Breivik with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Breivik shoots in and gets a takedown into Cruz's guard. Breivik trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Breivik throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cruz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cruz tries to land a sweep but no joy. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breivik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cruz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's better than Pham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Oliveira struggling a bit here. Pham thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oliveira is trying to control Pham's posture but Pham avoids it. Pham is looking for a kimura. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alberto Rodriguez. Well Spencer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
