Fuko comes to the cage accompanied by Song For The Dumped by Ben Folds Five. Wayne has chosen Remember the Name - Fort Minor as his entrance music. 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Wayne! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne ducks under a wild hook from Fuko. Wayne dives in and scores a takedown into Fuko's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wayne landing some decent shots from guard. Wayne looking to pass the guard. Wayne preventing the sweep. Fuko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wayne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fuko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fuko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wayne trying to control but Fuko is working from the bottom. Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fuko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wayne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wayne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wayne lands a couple of digs. Wayne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fuko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wayne stands up and waves to Fuko to follow him. Fuko keeps the fight on the outside. Wayne throws a leg kick which misses Fuko's front leg but catches the back leg as Fuko tries to avoid it. Fuko gets the takedown into side control. Fuko tries for a kimura but Wayne is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fuko lands a nice forearm strike. Wayne is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fuko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Fuko looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Wayne trying to control here.
Wayne has hold of Fuko's hands but Fuko slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wayne is trying to maintain the position but Fuko is very close to passing his half guard. Wayne is pressing down on Fuko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Fuko lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wayne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wayne is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Fuko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wayne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fuko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wayne can't keep his opponent in guard - Fuko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fuko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Fuko is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fuko breaks from Wayne's wrist control and lands an elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fuko cracks Wayne with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fuko has control of Wayne's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wayne regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wayne is desperately trying to improve his position but Fuko has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuko has hold of Wayne's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wayne manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fuko avoids the attempt from Wayne to control. Wayne slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Fuko seems to be looking for submissions.
Fuko wants to pass the guard but Wayne is defending well. Fuko moves nicely into side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fuko scoring with punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Wayne's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wayne wants to clinch. Chris Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fuko thows a body shot but no joy. Fuko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ground and pound from Fuko. Fuko moves into full mount! Wayne won't be happy about that! Fuko working Wayne over with strikes here. Fuko working for a guillotine from mount but Wayne is in no mood to give up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fuko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wayne has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wayne! Fuko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wayne trying to control but Fuko is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wayne trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wayne must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fuko preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wayne chips away with some ground and pound. Wayne wants to pass the guard but Fuko is keeping the position. Wayne won't allow Fuko to sweep him here. Fuko trying to control the position.
Wayne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fuko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wayne drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fuko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wayne has Fuko in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fuko wants to control from the top but Wayne keeps moving. Fuko landing with the ground and pound. Fuko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wayne has his hands clasped together but Fuko extends an breaks Wayne's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fuko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mattews defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Huxtable. Huxtable fails with a takedown attempt. Huxtable is breathing heavily. Mattews is looking to clinch. Mattews scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mattews is taking a breather. Huxtable says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Huxtable knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Kamiya turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kamiya is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Narcus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kamiya creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Narcus sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Kamiya grinds an elbow into Narcus's temple. Kamiya working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Narcus prevents Kamiya from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamiya misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kamiya lands a couple of elbows. Kamiya is working Narcus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kamiya thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seterra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wufie circles away quickly and effectively. Wufie feints and then cracks Seterra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Seterra down. Nice uppercut there from Seterra.
It looks like Zhang Wufie has been cut. Wufie throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Seterra. Seterra has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wufie. Wufie goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Seterra swinging wildly here.
A combination from Seterra does no damage. Wufie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wufie connects with a right hand. Seterra shakes it off. This has been an exciting period of action! Seterra pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Seterra throws a nice looking combination but Wufie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seterra throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wufie shoots in for a takedown but Seterra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Seterra. Those never looked like landing. Seterra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wufie circles away quickly and effectively. Wufie scoring well with a low kick there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wufie lands a leg kick that knocks Seterra off balance momentarily. Wufie with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
