The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a head kick.

Martial Delicat takes the fight into the clinch.
Martial Delicat tries to pull guard but Howard won't allow it.
Martial Delicat managing to block the knees to the body from Howard.
Howard misses with a short punch on the inside.

Martial Delicat escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quintez Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard throws a sloppy head kick and Martial Delicat moves out of range easily.

Howard has taken the fight to the clinch.

Martial Delicat is trying to trip Howard. He has hold of a leg but Howard is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Martial Delicat persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Karate closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Diamond is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Diamond creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Diamond tries a knee to the head but Karate blocks it.
Diamond pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Diamond is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Karate avoids the elbow strike from Diamond, against the cage.
Diamond is struggling to control the position.

Diamond drags the fight down to the ground.

Karate drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Karate seems to have locked his on tight now - Diamond screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Karate, as he picks up the win!

Nikolaev lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Shiva goes down and covers up as Nikolaev starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Meikalainen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The fighters circling - Meikalainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Good leg kick by Meikalainen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Meikalainen lands a leg kick that knocks Veremko off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Veremko shoots in looking for a takedown. Meikalainen tries to sprawl out of it but Veremko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Meikalainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch lands to the side of Veremko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Veremko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Meikalainen drops Veremko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Veremko looks back up at him and smiles so Meikalainen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Maksim Veremko has been cut.
Meikalainen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oh Veremko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Meikalainen lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karhula lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Campbell falls backwards - clearly groggy! Karhula dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
