The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Brock throws a leg kick which misses Baker's front leg but catches the back leg as Baker tries to avoid it. Brock pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Baker back to the cage. Brock follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A slapping leg kick lands for Brock.
Eddie Brock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brock closes the distance and clinches. A nice left hand lands by Brock.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Brock. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brock pulls him back up using the underhooks. Brock gets underhooks to prevent Baker's takedown attempt.

Volkovv is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ah Ling sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Volkovv looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Volkovv accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ah Ling knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volkovv on the ground. Volkovv lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ah Ling wants to get back to his feet but Volkovv is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volkovv with a nice head shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Volkovv content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Volkovv postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Volkovv throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ah Ling works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ah Ling avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Volkovv is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Cruz or perhaps it was just good defense by Legacy which made him look bad. Legacy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Legacy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Legacy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruz doesn't seem bothered though. Legacy swings widly with a right hand
and Legacy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Thiago Cruz has been cut. Legacy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Legacy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Legacy wants it to stay on the feet. Cruz is breathing heavily. Legacy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Legacy closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lucic lands a jab. Lucic throws a looping overhand right but Daughtry ducks down to avoid it. Daughtry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lucic. That did some damage! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Daughtry.
Lucic wants to clinch up but Daughtry keeps it at a distance. Daughtry attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Daughtry scores with a one two! Lucic had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Leon Lucic has been cut. Lucic cracks a nice hook into Daughtry's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daughtry closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Daughtry is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Daughtry tries to work over Lucic's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Daughtry digs a right hand underneath Lucic's ribcage. Lucic let out a lung full of air as it connected. Daughtry lands a shoulder strike.

Daughtry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lucic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lucic on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Daughtry. Daughtry obviously looking to wear him down.

Jeez, Leon Lucic's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Daughtry throws a shot to the body.
Lucic shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Daughtry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lucic's head backwards.
Lucic is rocked! Daughtry throws a hook but Lucic blocks it. Oh Lucic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Daughtry throws a big shot that misses. Lucic seems to have got his legs back now. Daughtry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daughtry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lucic. Daughtry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lucic's half guard. Lucic tries to get to full guard but Daughtry has control of the leg. Daughtry moves into full mount! Lucic won't be happy about that! Lucic is trying desperately to improve position. Lucic wants to hold on but Daughtry pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daughtry content just to control the position here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lucic is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daughtry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daughtry takes a step backwards and waves Lucic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leon Lucic's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
