The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hazuki throws a chopping leg kick but Cardosa manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hazuki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cardosa was well out of range. Poor timing from Hazuki. Cardosa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hazuki is able to avoid easily. Cardosa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cardosa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Some wild striking there from Hazuki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rostowski sprawls well initially but Rik persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rik prevents Rostowski from improving his position. Rik missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rik looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rostowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rik lands a nice short elbow. Rostowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rik's back! Rostowski is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kunnas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ramos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wursty turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wursty lets loose with a powerful body kick. Santoro will feel that in the morning. Wursty punishes Santoro's body with a nice straight punch. Wursty thumps Santoro with a low kick. Santoro with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wursty to score with a decent uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Santoro closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A head kick from Wursty lands but Santoro takes it in his stride.
Santoro is rocked! A head kick by Wursty - that's a beauty! Santoro is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Wursty can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
