The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johansen throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Johansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johansen.
The fighters circling - Johansen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones misses the shot to the body. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johansen.

A solid body kick from Jones. Johansen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jones throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Eirik Johansen has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones clinches up with Johansen and pushes him back against the ropes. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones lands a big right hand that sends Johansen crashing to the mat! Jones stays standing though and waves Johansen back to his feet!
Johansen is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Oh Johansen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Johansen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jones drops Johansen with a naaaaasty hook - Johansen is in real trouble here! Jones dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landi Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jose Pele Landi Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Landi Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naizdup uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mori. Naizdup is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Naizdup closes the distance but Mori moves to the side and Mori counters with a nice body shot. Mori fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Naizdup manages to avoid it. Mori throws the left hand but Naizdup avoids the punch easily. Naizdup tries to clinch but Mori is having none of it. Naizdup tries to clinch but Mori moves out of range. Naizdup tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mori paws at him with a jab and circles away. Naizdup tries to clinch up and Mori counters with a right hand to the body. Mori scores with a shot to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Takahiko Mori will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mori scores with a nice head shot. Mori throws a right and a left that both miss. Karol Naizdup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good shot there by Mori. Mori has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Naizdup escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caesar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Caesar stalling. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Oda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Caesar pulls his head out easily. Caesar thows a huge punch but Oda dodges it nicely.
Oda wants to get back to full guard. Oda looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Oda tries to get to full guard but Caesar has control of the leg. Oda is trying to control but can't.

Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Caesar wants to take a breather but Oda is having none of it. Oda is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Caesar scores with a couple of nice shots. Caesar not doing much here.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Caesar scores with a big shot! Oda's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Oda! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Regan won't allow Lovric to sweep him here. Regan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Boxer! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Szczeniak has a takedown stuffed. Szczeniak moves forwards but Boxer connects with a nice, crisp jab. Boxer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Szczeniak backs up against the ropes.
It looks like Roman Szczeniak has been cut. Szczeniak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boxer as he avoids it easily. Boxer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boxer works Szczeniak's body with a nice hook. Boxer feints a jab promting Szczeniak to slip. Boxer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Szczeniak slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Oooooh!!! Boxer has knocked Szczeniak down with a huge combo! Boxer steps away and waves a wobbly Szczeniak back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Szczeniak on the wrong end of a nice jab. Boxer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Szczeniak loses concentration momentarily and Boxer pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Szczeniak crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Boxer finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mike Boxer! A less than humble Mike Boxer misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasilko Nikolaevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Storm struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm has a takedown stuffed. Storm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nikolaevich as he jumps to the side. Storm on the wrong end of a nice hook. Storm fails with a takedown attempt. Vasilko Nikolaevich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Storm. No luck with that takedown attempt from Storm. Nikolaevich digs a good hook to Storm's body.
Nikolaevich lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Nikolaevich lands a glancing blow to the side of Storm's head.
It looks like Mason Storm has been cut. Storm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nikolaevich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nikolaevich lands with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nikolaevich thuds his shin into the meat of Storm's side. Storm looks winded! Storm sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Storm throws a leg kick and Nikolaevich counters with a stiff right hand. Mason Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nikolaevich lands with a kick to the ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action! Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Nikolaevich tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Nikolaevich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vasilko Nikolaevich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nikolaevich lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Storm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nikolaevich's waist but Nikolaevich gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Storm off to one side. Storm takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Nikolaevich throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Storm's head.
Storm is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikolaevich jabs Storm to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nikolaevich moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nikolaevich lands a nice looking kick to the body. Storm takes a step back to recover. Nice body kick from Nikolaevich. Storm walks into a left hand. Storm is still on wobbly legs! Can Nikolaevich finish him? Nikolaevich wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Storm seems to have recovered his senses. Storm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That has opened up Mason Storm's cut even more. Nikolaevich scores with a kick to the midsection. Nikolaevich feints a jab and as Storm dips his head, Nikolaevich unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Storm right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Storm falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the ropes! Nikolaevich smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vasilko Nikolaevich! A very excited looking Vasilko Nikolaevich made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
