The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ward is looking to clinch but Kierkegaard is avoiding it.
Ward shoots in for a double leg but Kierkegaard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kierkegaard plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ward swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ward face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Newton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by wild boy. Max Newton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Nap fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Newton manages to avoid it.

Nap throws a series of punches but Newton avoids them all with ease.

Nap cracks a nice hook into Newton's ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Newton is defended easily by Nap.

Nap gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Newton drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Newton seems to have locked his on tight now - Nap screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Newton, as he picks up the win!
