And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Meighen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopp on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Meighen throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Hopp sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Meighen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hopp is out of range.

Hopp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meighen avoids it really well and circles away.

Meighen thows a body kick. Hopp tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hopp closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hopp takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hopp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Meighen walks away with a smile on his face. Hopp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Meighen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hopp's head.
Arthur Meighen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meighen lands with a hook. Hopp tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Meighen engages and cracks Hopp with a massive lead left hook - Hopp tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Meighen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
