The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Austin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Austin does a little dance to reset his feet. Austin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gracie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Austin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gracie trying to control the action but Austin is working from the bottom. Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin won't allow Gracie to pass to mount. Gracie trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Austin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grandy shoots in for a double leg but Thunder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Grandy walks into a stiff left hand from Thunder. Grandy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Grandy throws a series of punches but Thunder moves out of range. Grandy fails to land the takedown. Thunder tries to keep at a distance but Grandy has taken the fight into the clinch. Thunder can't find room to land a body shot as Grandy controls the action.
Grandy lands a nice elbow. Grandy wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Relly Grandy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grandy stalling against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Grandy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Relly Grandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grandy shoots for a takedown but Thunder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grandy misses the shot to the body. Grandy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Thunder throws a combination. Grandy tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Grandy has taken the fight to the clinch.

Grandy trying to control the position but instead, Thunder has worked for underhooks and has pushed Grandy into the cage. Grandy fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Grandy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thunder fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Grandy is breathing heavily. Thunder misses with a body kick. Grandy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thunder lands a nice hook to Grandy's body. Grandy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Grandy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A left and a right from Thunder both land. Nice combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunder fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grandy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Grandy looks for a takedown but Thunder sprawls well. Thunder misses with a wild combination.
Grandy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Thunder lands with a good body shot. Thunder lands a nice looking body shot.
Thunder lands a jab. Thunder throws a head kick but Grandy moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grandy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Thunder punishes Grandy's body with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thunder dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Thunder lands a jab to the nose. Grandy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thunder swats him away and circles back towards the center. Grandy blocks the body kick.
Thunder looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Thunder stalks Grandy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grandy's face. Grandy staggers backwards, shaken. Thunder swats away the attempt to clinch by Grandy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thunder cracks Grandy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jameson Thunder dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Thunder throws a quick inside leg kick. Grandy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Thunder lands a nice hook to Grandy's body. Grandy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Thunder cracks Grandy with a good jab. Thunder tries a head kick but it misses.
Thunder's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Thunder duly obliges.
Grandy is rocked! Grandy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thunder as he jumps to the side. Grandy tries for a takedown but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Relly Grandy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Thunder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thunder wants it to stay on the feet. Thunder jabs Grandy right on the nose. Grandy blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Grandy or perhaps it was just good defense by Thunder which made him look bad. Relly Grandy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Grandy drops his hands momentarily and Thunder takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Oh Grandy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Thunder pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Grandy seems to have got his legs back now. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Grandy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A jab from Thunder finds it's way through Grandy's defenses. Thunder fails with a takedown attempt. Thunder lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Good shot there by Thunder.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder digs a good hook to Grandy's body.

Thunder thuds a left hand into Grandy's body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thunder pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thunder lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Grandy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice body punch from Thunder. Thunder connects with a body shot that sends Grandy's belly button to the back. Thunder lands with a shot to the body. A shot to the liver by Thunder. Beautiful body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grandy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Thunder jabs Grandy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Grandy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Thunder changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Thunder pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thunder looks to land a combination but Grandy avoids it well. Thunder takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Grandy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thunder but Thunder pushes him off and we're back to square one. Thunder has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Thunder throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder scores with a crisp jab that stopped Grandy in his tracks. Thunder works over Grandy's head and body with a nice combination. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grandy shoots in but no luck this time. Jameson Thunder seems to be getting the better of the standup. Thunder lands a right hook to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jameson Thunder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Grandy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thunder but Thunder pushes him off and we're back to square one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Grandy. Thunder scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Grandy looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Thunder lands a slapping body shot.
Thunder is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Grandy rather than just go for the knockout. Thunder misses with a wild body shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Grandy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thunder's waist but Thunder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grandy off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Relly Grandy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grandy shoots in for a takedown but Thunder shows good takedown defense. Thunder misses with a double jab.
The fighters circle, before Thunder throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Grandy's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Thunder lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Jameson Thunder looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'When you're the greatest fighter in the world today, they got a name for you. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones drives through and clinches with Joaquin against the cage.
Jones tightens his grip and picks Joaquin up, before dumping him to the ground. Joaquin manages to land in guard. Joaquin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Joaquin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well. Jones stands up over Joaquin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Joaquin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jones with a nice head shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones scoring with some ground and pound. Jones wants to control from the top but Joaquin keeps moving. Joaquin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jones throws an elbow that misses. Joaquin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Joaquin! Joaquin won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to sweep here but Joaquin controlling him for the moment. Joaquin wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Joaquin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Angel Jones wasn't active enough on the ground. Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joaquin on his heels. He'll look to pass Joaquin's guard now, I'm sure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Joaquin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily. Jones throws a strike but Joaquin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Joaquin preventing the sweep. Jones controlling Joaquin's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Jones striking off his back but it's not causing Joaquin any problems. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Joaquin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Angel Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Joaquin tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jones working Joaquin over with strikes. Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Joaquin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Joaquin gets full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones wants to control from the top but Joaquin keeps moving. and Grimes is countered with a crisp right hand from Jamison that sends him to the canvas! Jamison follows him to the mat into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jamison has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Grimes looks to land a combination. Jamison sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jamison displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grimes. Jamison leaves Grimes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grimes throws a looping overhand right but Jamison ducks down to avoid it. Grimes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jamison swivels and escapes. Jacoby Jamison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Grimes. Grimes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Grimes looks winded! Jamison is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Jamison shuts the power down on Grimes. Lights out, game over! Jamison is your winner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Kos throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Good exchange - Kos coming out on top.
It looks like Tanner Stevens has been cut. Stevens shoots for a double leg takedown but Kos sprawls well. He's pushed Stevens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kos throws a right and a left that Stevens avoids nicely. Stevens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kos but Kos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kos misses with a few strikes there.

and Stevens counters with a right hand to the body. Kos misses with a right hand and Stevens counters with a big head kick but Kos shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stevens closes the distance and clinches. Kos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stevens uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kos. Kos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stevens. Stevens keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kos. Stevens displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kos throws out the jab. Kos throws an off balance right hand
and Stevens counters with a head kick. Kos looks to land a right hand but Stevens moved out of range. Kos scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kos misses with a looping left. Stevens avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stevens gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A big right from Kos misses. Ron Kos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kos swings widly with a right hand
and Stevens counters with a crisp one two that drops Kos! Stevens thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kos to his feet! Kos is in big trouble!
Kos is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stevens walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kos checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A slow jab from Kos misses its intended target. Kos throws a lazy right hand but Stevens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stevens doesn't manage to clinch there - Kos circles away.
Stevens uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kos. Excellent takedown into side control there by Stevens. Kos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stevens asserts his dominance and retains side control. Stevens has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kos!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kos is trying to stand up. Kos bucks Stevens off and manages to get back to his feet! Kos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stevens moves away. Stevens tries to clinch up. A jab from Kos misses. Kos throws a shot from downtown. Stevens moves away and avoids it. Kos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kos throws a lazy right hand but Stevens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stevens counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stevens. Stevens won't allow Kos to get back to his feet. Stevens tries to stand but Kos is controlling from the bottom. Stevens looks winded! Kos wants to stand up but Stevens is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens trying to control but Kos is working from the bottom. Kos wants to get back to his feet but Stevens is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kos is wriggling around but Stevens manages to pass to half guard.
