And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Harkness!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harkness misses with a takedown

and Wilton counters with a takedown into side control.
Harkness is looking to reverse the position.
Wilton passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Harkness!
Harkness is looking to improve his position but Wilton isn't that keen on the idea.
Wilton controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harkness tries to reverse the position but Wilton maintains control.
Harkness throwing hammer fists to the chest of Wilton. What's that going to do exactly?

Wilton thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Harkness is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Harkness might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wilton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Wilton breaks from Harkness's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Harkness is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wilton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Harkness has worked his arm free - good work by Harkness!
Harkness dodges the ground and pound from Wilton.

Harkness is looking for a sweep.

Wilton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Harkness is trying to control Wilton's posture but Wilton avoids it.
Wilton controlling from side mount.

Wilton tries to stand but Harkness is controlling his head.
The ground and pound from Wilton seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Wilton trying to control the action but Harkness is working from the bottom.
Harkness is trying to control Wilton's posture but Wilton avoids it.
Harkness tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Wilton lands a few punches from side control.
Harkness is looking to reverse the position.
Wilton wants to control but Harkness is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harkness is looking for a sweep.

Wilton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harkness tries to buck Wilton off but Wilton is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zac Wilton dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Harkness fails in his attempt to clinch.
Harkness fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harkness walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wilton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Harkness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilton tries to avoid it but Harkness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilton to the ground. Wilton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilton.
Wilton tries to advance to mount but can't.
Harkness struggling a bit here.

Wilton controlling the position from side mount.
Harkness tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wilton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Wilton working the ground and pound but Harkness is defending the strikes.
Wilton wants to control but Harkness is keeping him busy.
Wilton scores with a couple of short elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harkness tries to bench press Wilton off him but Wilton keeps the position.
Wilton trying to control the position but Harkness is working away.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Harkness tries to bench press Wilton off him but Wilton keeps the position.
Harkness is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Harkness is breathing heavily.

Wilton tries for a kimura but Harkness is defending well.

Wilton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Wilton has hold of Harkness's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Harkness tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wilton cranks the arm and Harkness screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Harkness, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Killers gets a double leg takedown into McGregor's guard.
McGregor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McGregor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McGregor is tightening it up a little... Killers has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Killers reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Killers taps out! Nice BJJ there by McGregor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Toro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Toro quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Toro is trying to escape back to his feet but Smith uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Smith works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Toro is looking to regain half guard here but Smith keeps moving and retains side control.
Toro is pushing Smith's head away, looking to escape. Smith manages to hold on to the position though.
Toro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smith advances nicely into full mount.
Smith trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Smith controlling his opponent.
Smith has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Toro is looking to get to half guard.
Smith with shots to the head and body - Toro looks very uncomfortable down there.
Smith is looking to stand but Smith has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Smith lands a big shot there that rocks Toro but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Smith postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Toro looks a forlorn figure.
Toro wants to hold on but Smith pushes him away.
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Toro badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Smith around the waist but Smith pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Smith is the winner by TKO! Smith jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ghelo Smith!
Ghelo Smith seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Waffle shoots in and gets a takedown into Tombsin's guard.
Waffle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tombsin is trying to control the position but Waffle postures up.
Waffle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tombsin is keeping the position for now.
Tombsin is trying to control the position but Waffle postures up.
Tombsin is looking to stand up but Waffle isn't so interested in that idea.
Waffle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tombsin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tombsin looking for a guillotine here but Waffle defends easily.
Tombsin can't keep his opponent in guard - Waffle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Waffle looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Waffle seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Waffle slips a nice elbow through Tombsin's hands, connecting with Tombsin's forehead.

It looks like Paul Tombsin has been cut.

Waffle looks to land a strike but Tombsin avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Tombsin wants to sweep but no luck.
Waffle looking to pass the guard.
Waffle chips away with some ground and pound.
Tombsin has momentary wrist control but Waffle slips an elbow through the middle.
Waffle working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Tombsin is rocked!

That has opened up Paul Tombsin's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Tombsin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
