3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sorbinian Potasu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leonard Pires! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pires pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pires throws a nice looking combination but Potasu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pires is defended easily by Potasu. Pires is looking to clinch. Potasu drops Pires with a beautiful combination! Pires stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Potasu is looking for the KO!
It looks like Leonard Pires has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Horrible takedown by Pires or perhaps it was just good defense by Potasu which made him look bad. Potasu throws an uppercut from hell that sends Pires clean off his feet! He's out cold! Potasu stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sorbinian Potasu! Sorbinian Potasu bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzi moves away from the strike by Atleetti. Uzi looks to score with a jab to the body but Atleetti is just out of range. Atleetti tries to clinch up but Uzi circles away and keeps his distance. Atleetti gets caught flat footed, as Uzi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Uzi prevents Atleetti from getting back to his feet. Uzi lands a couple of elbows. Uzi looking to pass the guard. Atleetti wants to get back to his feet but Uzi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Uzi throwing strikes but missing. Atleetti wants to get back to his feet but Uzi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzi looking to pass the guard. Atleetti is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Uzi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Atleetti pushes Uzi off and scrambles back to his feet.

Donk. Uzi catches Atleetti right on the button with a cross. Uzi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Uzi slips a jab and a cross from Atleetti.
Atleetti tries to clinch but Uzi moves out of range. Atleetti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Uzi tries to bench press Atleetti off him but Atleetti keeps the position. Atleetti decides to stand up, so the ref orders Uzi to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Atleetti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Atleetti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Atleetti wants to stand but Uzi is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Uzi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Atleetti tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Uzi striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atleetti tries to stand but Uzi is controlling his head. Uzi is looking to regain half guard here but Atleetti keeps moving and retains side control. Atleetti stands up. Atleetti is looking to clinch. Atleetti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Uzi sprawls well initially but Atleetti persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uzi is trying to control but Atleetti passes into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uzi is trying to control Atleetti's posture but Atleetti avoids it. Atleetti stands up. Uzi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Atleetti looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Atleetti wants to clinch. Atleetti tries to close the distance and clinch but Uzi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Uzi is working hard here to advance position. Atleetti wants to stand and escape but instead Uzi has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Uzi looking to pass the guard. Uzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Atleetti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Atleetti showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Atleetti throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Uzi was covering up waiting for the punch and Atleetti finishes the takedown easily into guard. Atleetti is looking to stand up but Uzi won't let him. Uzi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Atleetti trying to stand up but can't free himself from Uzi's guard. Uzi is trying to hold Atleetti in close to prevent damage but Atleetti has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Atleetti is working away from the top position though. Atleetti is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Atleetti decides to return to a standing position. Uzi swings for the body but Atleetti moves out of range.
Uzi slips a straight right by Atleetti. Uzi tries to clinch but Atleetti moves out of range. Atleetti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uzi. Uzi wants to clinch up but Atleetti keeps it at a distance. Uzi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Atleetti is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uzi's half guard. Atleetti has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Uzi works to full guard. Tyr Uzi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Uzi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Atleetti defends well. Uzi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Atleetti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Atleetti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Atleetti is looking to stand up but Uzi won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Atleetti preventing the sweep. Atleetti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Atleetti decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Atleetti moves out of range as Uzi strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Antti Atleetti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Atleetti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Sumrall fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rivers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rivers misses the jab. Sumrall fails in his attempt to clinch. Rivers fails to land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitus fails with the takedown so Thapa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Thapa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jitus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thapa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Thapa showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Thapa trying to control the position from guard on top but Jitus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thapa landing some decent shots from guard. Jitus trying to control the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thapa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jitus swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thapa is pushing down on Jitus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jitus is fighting to maintain full guard but Thapa has managed to sneak the leg through. Jitus manages to get to full guard.

Jitus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jitus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thapa's guard. Thapa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thapa. Jitus trying to control the position from guard on top but Thapa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thapa is pulling down on Jitus's head to control his posture. Thapa wants to sweep but no luck. Thapa trying to keep a closed guard but Jitus is proving a slippery customer.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Thapa seems keen to control Jitus's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sundar Thapa. Jitus misses with a takedown attempt and Thapa counters with a nice uppercut. Thapa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jitus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Thapa is taking a break and basically stalling. Thapa is struggling to control the position. The crowd are getting on Thapa's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Thapa cracks Jitus with a nice body shot. A bit of stalling here from Thapa.

Collins cracks Caprillo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Collins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Caprillo to stand back up!
It looks like Caio Cesar Caprillo has been cut. Caprillo looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Collins tries to bum rush Caprillo with a series of wild strikes but Caprillo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Collins drops Caprillo with a big left hand! Caprillo is injured, injured bad! Collins jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
