I think Rooney might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Belfast Boy. Stroud has chosen Vallenfyre - Iconoclast as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooney slips a jab and a cross from Stroud.
A lazy left from Stroud finds it's target.
Stroud cracks Rooney with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stroud throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rooney bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rooney uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stroud.
Stroud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stroud throws a right hand that Rooney ducks under and follows up with a left that Rooney also avoids with ease.

Stroud is looking to land body kicks.

Rooney thuds his right hand into Stroud's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Rooney.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rooney, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tsunami shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tsunami tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scholes was well out of range. Poor timing from Tsunami.

Tsunami feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Scholes is looking for a triangle but Tsunami pushes his legs off easily.
Tsunami controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Scholes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tsunami can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
