And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kees Flodder!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flodder misses with a double jab.
Flodder dodges the punch combination from Scurlock.

Scurlock gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Flodder wants to get back to striking at distance but Scurlock won't allow it.
Scurlock struggles to land a body shot inside as Flodder controls his hands.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scurlock creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Scurlock makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Scurlock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Flodder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Flodder circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scurlock tries to clinch but Flodder moves out of range.
Scurlock wants to clinch.
Flodder throws a lazy right hand but Scurlock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Flodder moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Flodder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Flodder misses with the combination.

Scurlock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A body shot lands from Scurlock.
Scurlock is trying to pull guard but Flodder has him pressed against the cage.
Scurlock misses with a punch on the inside.
Flodder blocking some punches.
Scurlock has Flodder pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flodder manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Scurlock misses with a hook from the clinch.
Flodder prevents a body shot from Scurlock.
Scurlock fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Scurlock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Flodder has him pressed against the cage.
Scurlock struggles to land a body shot inside as Flodder controls his hands.

Scurlock wants to break free but Flodder has control.
Scurlock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flodder walks away with a smile on his face. Scurlock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josiah Scurlock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scurlock gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Flodder.

Scurlock moves into range and clinches up with Flodder.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flodder wants to break free but Scurlock has control.

Scurlock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scurlock takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Scurlock slips a jab and a cross from Flodder.
Scurlock lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Flodder backs up against the cage.
Flodder lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Flodder lands a left and a right that send Scurlock crashing to the mat, dazed. Flodder thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Scurlock is rocked!
Scurlock is aggressively charging in as Flodder backs up avoiding any damage. Flodder tosses out a jab and Scurlock runs right into it face first! Scurlock is out cold! Flodder dropped down on all fours and is barking in Scurlock's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kees Flodder!
