0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wiul Mimi! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! UB fails to land with a series of punches.
UB drives through and clinches with Mimi against the cage.
UB has had enough of the clinch but Mimi keeps him there for the moment. Mimi manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mimi lands a knee to the head.
 It looks like TB UB has been cut. Mimi lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Mimi landing some nice looking knees to the body.

 TB UB's cut is getting worse. UB tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mimi smiles and moves away.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Barboza throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kanon on the side of the head. Kanon throws a nice looking combination but Barboza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Barboza looks to land a combination. Kanon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Barboza tests Kanon's chin there with a solid looking shot. Barboza scores with a body shot.
Kanon needs to keep his hands up - Barboza had a free shot at his head there. Kanon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Barboza slips a jab and a cross from Kanon.

Barboza bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Barboza throws a good cross that connects.

Kanon tries to bum rush Barboza with a series of wild strikes but Barboza uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Barboza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kanon throws a series of strikes that have Barboza backpedaling.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kanon throws a right and a left that Barboza avoids nicely. Kanon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A looping hook to the body misses from Barboza. Kanon does a little dance to reset his feet. Kanon gets slowly back to his feet. Barboza lands with a cross. Kanon lunges at Barboza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barboza's hand. Anderson Barboza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kanon misses with a double jab.
Kanon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barboza moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Barboza lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Carver counters by moving into the clinch. Carver tries to pull guard but Lars forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Carver engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Carver won't allow Lars to sweep him here. Carver postures up in Lars's guard and throws a big left but Lars blocks it. Lars really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Carver drops back looking for a leg! Lars is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lars manages to kick Carver off! Carver jumps back into Lars's guard. Lars is trying to control the position but Carver postures up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carver accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Carver showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Carver wanted to stand there but Lars had control of the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carver loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carver stays in close to Lars's body and controls the position.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lars takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Carver changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Carver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lars throws a head kick but Carver moves out of range.
Carver shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lars manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Carver with a flurry of punches that miss. Carver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lars's guard.

Carver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carver lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Still in half guard, Carver seems content to control. Carver tries to stand and escape but Lars is controlling the position. Carver thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lars's head. Lars is trying to stand up here but Carver is controlling him well. Lars looks winded! Carver works his way into full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lars is bucking up trying to escape but Carver cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Lars looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carver not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carver throwing strikes from guard but Lars blocks nicely.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lars wants to stand up but Carver is controlling him. Casy Carver overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Carver sitting in guard, not really doing much. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Casy Carver.
Carver gets a takedown into half guard. Lars blocking the ground and pound attempt from Carver. Carver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Carver takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carver working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lars with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Carver working the head and body with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Still in half guard, Carver seems content to control.

 Lars is rocked! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carver connects with a nice short shot to Lars's temple. Lars is still in real trouble! Can Carver finish him? Carver takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carver passes to side control. Lars is breathing heavily. Carver lands a strong strike to the head of Lars. That's dazed him! Carver looking to finish here. Lars is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Carver lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vieira with a lazy takedown attempt
and Guy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vieira's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Guy stopping the sweep attempt from Vieira. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vieira is on top in guard.

Guy is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Vieira preventing the sweep. Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Vieira not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lucky Guy. Nice takedown defense from Guy. No joy for Vieira on that attempt. Guy shoots for a takedown but Vieira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Guy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guy wants it to stay on the feet. Lucky Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodolfo Vieira.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira with a poor takedown and Guy counters with a lovely shot to the body. Vieira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Guy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Guy pulls guard effortlessly. Vieira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Vieira trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos Jnr throws a hook but Duncan blocks it. Dos Santos Jnr tries to bum rush Duncan with a series of wild strikes but Duncan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dos Santos Jnr throws a hook to the side of Duncan's head but Duncan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Duncan walks into a left hand. Duncan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
 It looks like Tommy Duncan has been cut. Duncan slips a jab and a cross from Dos Santos Jnr.
Duncan closes the distance and clinches up with Dos Santos Jnr, looking for a takedown. Duncan pushes Dos Santos Jnr against the cage but Dos Santos Jnr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brooks falls off balance throwing a combination

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Foolio takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Foolio keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
