Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Swano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight's entrance music is Ya uedu zhit v London. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dan Swano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Swano!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swano lands a glancing blow to the side of Knight's head.
Knight moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Swano stuffs the takedown.
Knight moves forwards but Swano connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Arthur Knight has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knight fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Swano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knight sprawling to the canvas! Knight rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Swano finish him?!

Knight lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Swano circles away quickly and effectively.
Dan Swano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swano throws a right hand that Knight ducks under and follows up with a left that Knight also avoids with ease.
Knight slips a jab and a cross from Swano.
Swano lands a nice looking body shot.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Swano.
Knight is breathing heavily.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Swano has hold of Knight's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Knight seems comfortable defending it but Swano has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Knight is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Knight is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Swano couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Iverson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Through the pain. Sean Yuen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Joe Iverson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iverson gets tackled into the cage by Yuen. Yuen maintains the clinch.
Yuen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Yuen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Yuen has Iverson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yuen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Iverson tumbling to the mat - Yuen dives into Iverson's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
