The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bautista throws a series of punches but Derren moves out of range. Derren looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A punch combination from Bautista misses. Bautista looks for the body kick but Derren saw that one coming. Bautista shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Derren napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bautista scoring with punches and elbows. Bautista scores with a couple of short elbows. Derren taking a bit of punishment here - Bautista scoring with strikes. Bautista working the ground and pound from side control.
Derren is rocked! A big shot lands for Bautista! That's hurt Derren! Will he recover? Bautista fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howe misses the shot to the body. Howe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wolf circles away quickly and effectively. Wolf gets a takedown into half guard. Howe wants to get back to his feet. Howe is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wolf keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wolf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Howe defends it well. Wolf looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Howe is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Howe sees it coming and defends easily. Howe wants to get back to his feet. Wolf perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Howe trying to control from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Howe swinging wildly here.
Howe looks gassed! Howe throws a series of punches but Wolf avoids them all with ease. Howe tries a head kick but it misses.
Wolf blocks a jab. Wolf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tim Howe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wolf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Howe is not content to let Wolf control the position. Wolf is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolf works his way into full mount! Wolf is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Howe has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wolf is working for a guillotine from mount but Howe frees his head quite easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolf is really struggling to control Howe but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wolf avoids the attempt from Howe to control. Wolf is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Howe is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Howe flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wolf anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Howe and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wolf slips an arm under Howe chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wolf has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wolf is squeezing on Howe like an anaconda would it's prey. Howe fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash shoots in but no luck this time. Nash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Matthew has closed the distance and engaged Nash in a clinch.
Nash working hard to break the clinch. Matthew lands with a short shot to the head. Matthew gets control of Nash's arms and successfully pulls guard. Matthew will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Matthew controlling Nash's posture. Matthew is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Matthew slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Matthew has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nash tries to kick Matthew off but Matthew keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Matthew is looking to take a break and control but Nash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kishion Matthew just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Matthew takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Matthew tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nash swivels and escapes. Matthew shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Matthew content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matthew is stalling here. Nash is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Matthew seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nash has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Nash lands a nice forearm strike. Nash trying to control the position but Matthew is working away. Nash misses with the ground and pound. Nash tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Nash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matthew on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Matthew regains half guard, as Nash was trying to land strikes. Nash thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Matthew to regain full guard. Matthew has control of Nash's left arm, preventing Nash from doing any damage. Nash throwing strikes from guard but Matthew blocks nicely. Nash wanted to stand there but Matthew had control of the position. Matthew working for a triangle but Nash defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kishion Matthew dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A right-left combo lands from Nash. Nash shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Matthew defends it nicely. Nash misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nash throws a series of strikes that have Matthew backpedaling.
It looks like Kishion Matthew has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matthew circles away quickly and effectively. Matthew feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nash wants to stand but Matthew is controlling the position. Matthew works over Nash with some ground and pound from guard. Matthew pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nash is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash wants to stand up but Matthew is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Matthew slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Matthew postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Matthew is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Matthew throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Matthew looking to sit in guard and control but Nash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Matthew looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nash is defending well. Matthew quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nash has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Matthew celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Pierce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. mandingo tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pierce has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Pierce won't let mandingo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Pierce moves to back control. Pierce has his arm under mandingo's chin here. Game over son! Pierce squeezes tightly and mandingo is forced to tap out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Carter with a body punch. A glancing blow. No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carter misses with a few strikes there.
Sharp shoots in and bounces Carter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Carter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sharp postures up in Carter's guard and throws a big left but Carter blocks it. Carter has his foot on Sharp's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sharp works his way back into a safe position though. Sharp won't allow Carter to sweep him here. Carter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sharp working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sharp walks into a jab. Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter stalks Sharp and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sharp's face. Sharp staggers backwards, shaken. Sharp scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sharp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Carter avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sharp. Carter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Carter actively working from the bottom here. Carter moves into full guard.
Sharp postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sharp, into his guard. Carter stopping the sweep attempt from Sharp.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sharp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sharp is tightening it up a little... Carter has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Carter reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Carter taps out! nice BJJ there by Sharp!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abraham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Thorburn throws a right and a left that both miss. Abraham moves out of range of the strikes. Abraham keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thorburn lands a glancing blow to the side of Abraham's head. Abraham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thorburn swivels and escapes. Thorburn lands a jab-cross combination. Thorburn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thorburn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Abraham's head. Thorburn throws the left hand but Abraham avoids the punch easily. Thorburn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nice body punch from Thorburn. Thorburn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Rich Thorburn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abraham displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thorburn throws out the jab. Thorburn jabbing away but nothing is landing. A nice combination there by Thorburn.
Thorburn misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Thorburn scores with a four punch combination! Thorburn fails to land with a series of punches.
Thorburn throws a right hand that Abraham ducks under and follows up with a left that Abraham also avoids with ease. Thorburn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thorburn throws the left hand but Abraham avoids the punch easily. Abraham shoots for a double leg takedown but Thorburn sprawls well. He's pushed Abraham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A swing and a miss from Thorburn. Thorburn leaves Abraham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rich Thorburn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amr Abraham. Thorburn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Abraham's hands. Thorburn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Thorburn throws a lazy right hand but Abraham sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Thorburn lands with an uppercut that bounces Abraham off the cage and back into rage. Thorburn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Abraham looks for a takedown but Thorburn sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abraham walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Abraham shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thorburn as he jumps to the side. Thorburn tests Abraham's chin there with a solid looking shot. Abraham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Abraham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Abraham looks gassed! Abraham looks for a takedown but Thorburn sprawls well. Nice shot by Thorburn. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thorburn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A jab from Thorburn does it's job there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abraham walks into a jab. Abraham blocks a low kick nicely. Thorburn throws a good cross that connects.
Thorburn misses with a series of wild punches.
Thorburn is working the combinations to good effect here. Thorburn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Abraham has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Abraham is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Thorburn engages and cracks Abraham with a massive lead left hook - Abraham tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Thorburn is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Briz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but YellOw sees it coming and defends easily.

Briz seems to be working for a kimura but YellOw defends the submission attempt. Briz scoring with strikes to the body and head. Briz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Briz wants to work for an arm triangle but YellOw is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Fellipe Briz will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and YellOw counters with a left to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by YellOw misses and Briz counters with a nice low kick that buckles YellOw's knee momentarily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from YellOw, right into the meat.
YellOw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

YellOw thuds a left hand into Briz's body. Briz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and YellOw counters with a nice uppercut. Fellipe Briz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. YellOw scores a takedown into full mount! YellOw looking to control and managing it successfully.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! YellOw blocks Briz's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. YellOw controlling from mount. Brian YellOw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Noted by the judges no doubt. Briz swings and misses with a shot to the body and YellOw counters with a straight punch to the midsection. YellOw gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Briz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with YellOw in particular looking to stall. Briz wants to control but YellOw passes into side.
YellOw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Briz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Briz manages to work his way to half guard, despite YellOw's best efforts. YellOw wants to control but Briz is keeping him busy. Still in half guard, YellOw seems content to control. YellOw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Briz is just riding it out for now. YellOw eventually gives up the hold. YellOw controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Briz is pressing down on YellOw's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Briz keeping moving, preventing YellOw from controlling successfully. YellOw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. YellOw preventing the sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian YellOw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well YellOw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davi Alves! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves tries to close the distance and clinch but Mayweather swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Alves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alves. Mayweather keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alves. Alves throws a big shot that misses. Mayweather throws a hook but Alves blocks it. Mayweather leaves Alves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Alves throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Good standup being displayed there by Alves as he connects with a hook. Mayweather misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alves.

enabling Alves to counter with a crisp jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Alves. Mayweather dives in and grabs Alves's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes down on Mayweather's head and hops out. Mayweather throws a leg kick but Alves sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves misses with a takedown attempt letting Mayweather counter with a right hand. Christian Mayweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davi Alves. Alves jabbing away but nothing is landing. Alves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Alves is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Alves looks gassed! Mayweather holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Mayweather pushes Alves off looking to stand but Alves dives back in and keeps control.

Alves looking to control but Mayweather is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Alves prevents Mayweather from getting the reversal. Mayweather tries to hold on but Alves postures up. Mayweather blocking the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayweather's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Alves with a couple of short strikes. Alves working the ground and pound effectively.
Mayweather regains half guard. Alves throws a strike but Mayweather avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Alves trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mayweather on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mayweather tries to get out of the position. Mayweather trying to keep a closed guard but Alves is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves with a flurry of punches that miss. Alves won't allow Mayweather to get back to his feet. Mayweather wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Alves moves out of range as Mayweather strikes. Good leg kick by Alves there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Alves scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Mayweather. Alves does a little dance to reset his feet. Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mayweather to score with a decent uppercut. Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mayweather swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mayweather throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely. Alves blocks a jab. Alves lands a jab. Alves throws out a leg kick but Mayweather moves out of range and Alves only half commits. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davi Alves dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mayweather tries to clinch up but Alves circles away and keeps his distance. Mayweather throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely. Mayweather throws a leg kick and Alves cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mayweather paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alves closes the distance and clinches up with Mayweather, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes Mayweather against the cage but Mayweather circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Christian Mayweather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayweather lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mayweather looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Alves ducks right into an uppercut from Mayweather.
Alves is rocked! Alves throws a jab when Mayweather was well out of range. Alves is still on wobbly legs! Can Mayweather finish him? Mayweather lands an uppercut, right on the button! Alves tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
