Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpa Chino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Grigori Draugovich Ii! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draugovich Ii checks a leg kick. Alpa Chino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chino moves forwards but Draugovich Ii connects with a nice, crisp jab. Draugovich Ii fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Draugovich Ii thows a left - swing and a miss! Draugovich Ii buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Chino tries to land a body kick and Draugovich Ii decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chino's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Chino looking to control but Draugovich Ii passes into half guard.
Draugovich Ii not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Draugovich Ii wants to take a breather but Chino is having none of it. Draugovich Ii thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chino's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chino is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chino keeping hold of Draugovich Ii's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Draugovich Ii has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chino blocking the ground and pound attempt from Draugovich Ii. Draugovich Ii wants to take a breather but Chino is having none of it. Draugovich Ii looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chino wants to get back to full guard. Draugovich Ii wants to pass to mount but Chino is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chino avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Draugovich Ii. Draugovich Ii thows a huge punch but Chino dodges it nicely.

Chino avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chino is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chino trying to control but Draugovich Ii is working from the bottom. Draugovich Ii wants to stand but Chino is controlling the position. Draugovich Ii has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chino is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Draugovich Ii.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Draugovich Ii struggling a bit here. Draugovich Ii is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chino throws a sloppy head kick and Draugovich Ii moves out of range easily. Draugovich Ii shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chino defends it nicely. Chino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A low kick from Chino misses and Draugovich Ii counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chino won't be happy with that. Grigori Draugovich Ii has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Chino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Draugovich Ii tries to move to mount but Chino blocks the move with his legs.

Draugovich Ii lands a decent elbow from side control. Draugovich Ii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chino keeps working. Chino tries to buck Draugovich Ii off but Draugovich Ii is having none of it. The ground and pound from Draugovich Ii seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Draugovich Ii connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Chino some visible discomfort.
Both fighters take a look at the clock. Chino is working to avoid the ground and pound but Draugovich Ii connects with a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draugovich Ii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chino keeps working. Chino stops Draugovich Ii from passing to mount. Draugovich Ii taking a break here but Chino is having none of it and regains half guard. Draugovich Ii trying to mount his opponent but Chino defends it. Draugovich Ii sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chino defending well though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Draugovich Ii tries to control but Chino wriggling away. Chino can't escape the position.
Draugovich Ii lands a big shot there that rocks Chino but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Draugovich Ii scoring with strikes but Chino is staying in there. Draugovich Ii fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Grigori Draugovich Ii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Draugovich Ii connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chino's hands. Chino checks the leg kick. Chino tries to clinch but Draugovich Ii is having none of it. Chino throws the kick towards the body but Draugovich Ii avoids it. Chino cracks the inside of Draugovich Ii's front leg. Chino rushes Draugovich Ii and presses him up against the cage. Draugovich Ii lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Draugovich Ii tries for a takedown. No joy.
Draugovich Ii is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chino to keep the fight standing. Chino keeps control of Draugovich Ii as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Draugovich Ii avoiding damage as Chino throws knees to the body.
Draugovich Ii is trying to pull guard but Chino turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Alpa Chino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grigori Draugovich Ii. Chino blocks a body shot from Draugovich Ii. Chino's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chino using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Draugovich Ii has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Draugovich Ii ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Draugovich Ii no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Draugovich Ii being controlled here, momentarily. Draugovich Ii isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chino stacks Draugovich Ii on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chino! Grigori Draugovich Ii is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draugovich Ii manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chino's best efforts. Draugovich Ii is controlling Chino's trapped leg to prevent Chino from advancing to side control. Chino looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draugovich Ii tries to roll over but Chino keeps him under control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Chino trying to control the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alpa Chino. Draugovich Ii fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Chino slips under a jab from Draugovich Ii.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chino takes one on the button. Draugovich Ii darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Draugovich Ii scores with a hook. Chino cracks the inside of Draugovich Ii's front leg. Draugovich Ii shoots in and gets a takedown into Chino's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chino keeping full guard, as Draugovich Ii tries to pass. Alpa Chino has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Draugovich Ii scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Draugovich Ii seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Draugovich Ii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chino is keeping the position for now.

and Hovi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nice body punch from Hovi - that landed with a thud.

Lou has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Hovi throws a head punch that misses. Hovi breaks the clinch.
Lou ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice defenses there by Hovi. Hovi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lou looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hovi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hovi avoids the body shot from Lou.

Lou throws a right hand that Hovi ducks under and follows up with a left that Hovi also avoids with ease. Lou throws a lazy uppercut
and Hovi counters with a right hand to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Hovi. Hovi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lou throws a sloppy head kick and Hovi counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hovi avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lou throws a head kick that misses and Hovi counters by moving into the clinch. A hook to the body from Hovi.
Lou has Hovi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hovi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lou is trying to drag Hovi to the mat but Hovi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Tarmo Hovi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toney Lou.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hovi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lou changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hovi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hovi lands an overhand right. Nice straight punches there by Hovi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hovi. Lou misses with a left hand and Hovi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hovi. Hovi lands a hook that snaps the head of Lou backwards. Lou tries to score a body lock takedown but Hovi shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lou tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lou throws a jab when Hovi was well out of range. Hovi clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hovi. Lou is looking to break free of the clinch but Hovi has double underhooks. Lou jumps guard but Hovi stands there with Lou around his waist. Lou gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lou fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lou wants to take the fight to the mat but Hovi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lou has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hovi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hovi lands a body punch. Lou is trying to drag Hovi to the mat but Hovi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A nice right hand lands inside from Hovi. Hovi tries to work over Lou's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hovi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lou backwards.
It looks like Toney Lou has been cut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lou tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hovi smiles and moves away.

Tarmo Hovi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Toney Lou's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hovi. Lou shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Hovi ducks under a wild hook from Lou. An inside leg kick from Lou misses. Lou jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hovi lands with a straight right. Lou didn't see that one coming. Tarmo Hovi is winning the standup battle so far. Hovi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hovi punishes Lou's body with a nice straight punch. Toney Lou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lou throws a quick inside leg kick. A solid body kick from Hovi. Lou takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hovi lands a leg kick that knocks Lou off balance momentarily. Hovi moves out of range of the body kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Hovi. Lou on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lou throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Lou is breathing heavily. Lou takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Lou throws a leg kick and Hovi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hovi works Lou's body with a nice hook. Hovi lands the left hand. Hovi gets a clinch. Hovi working some nice short punches in the clinch. A hook to the body from Hovi.
Hovi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hovi works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hovi lands with a light punch inside. Lou drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hovi pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hovi cracks Lou with a hook to the temple - Lou is on wobbly legs here! Hovi swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Lou falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hovi wins by TKO!

Kent will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kent looks for a takedown but Koscheck sprawls well. Kent throws a sloppy head kick and Koscheck moves out of range easily. Koscheck drives through with a takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kent trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Koscheck drops back looking for a leg! Kent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kent manages to kick Koscheck off! Koscheck jumps back into Kent's guard. Koscheck pushes down on Kent's leg and manages to get into half guard. Koscheck works his way into side control. Koscheck is looking to take a break and control but Kent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Koscheck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kent tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Koscheck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Koscheck lets go of the hold and Kent can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen lands a big head kick that sends Murie tumbling to the mat! Allen takes a step backwards and waves Murie back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murie throws a jab when Allen was well out of range. Allen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Murie's calf. The fighters circling - Allen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Allen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Allen thuds his shin into the meat of Murie's side. Allen throws a right and a left that both miss. Murie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Allen cracks the inside of Murie's front leg. Murie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Allen tries to score with a low kick but Murie moves his leg out of the way. Murie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Allen. Allen obviously looking to wear him down.
Murie thuds his right hand into Allen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A looping hook to the body misses from Murie. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet. Allen looks to land a combination but Murie avoids it well. Allen throws a poor cross that misses
and Murie counters with a lovely shot to the body. Allen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murie works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Murie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it. Murie tries to move into range but Allen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Allen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Allen looks to land a left hand but Murie moved out of range nicely. Allen throws a hook to the side of Murie's head but Murie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Murie connects with a body shot that sends Allen's belly button to the back. Murie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Hendrik Daross has been cut. Daross scores with a kick to the midsection. Both fighters circling a little - Daross finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moroba takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bam Margera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Margera walks into a jab. A combination from Margera does no damage. Margera on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moroba. Moroba ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Margera moves away. Margera takes the fight into the clinch. Moroba tries to throw a body punch but Margera avoids it by throwing Moroba back against the cage. Margera pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Margera tries a body shot but Moroba blocks it.

It looks like Bam Margera has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moroba lands punches and elbows. Margera is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Moroba off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Margera defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Moroba's arms. Margera just trying to survive but Moroba is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. What can Margera do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That's one minute gone in the round. Moroba misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Margera is looking to reverse the position. Moroba lands some shots froms side control. Margera takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

This has been an exciting period of action! Moroba has Margera flattened out and is raining down punches. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Moroba.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rold is looking to slow Jouppi down with leg kicks. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rold is defended easily by Jouppi. Rold closes the distance and clinches up with Jouppi, looking for a takedown. Rold pushes Jouppi against the cage but Jouppi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A lazy body kick from Rold and Jouppi counters with a series of strikes. Rold will be more careful next time no doubt. Rold throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Rold swings for the body but Jouppi moves out of range.

Jouppi thows a body shot but no joy. Jouppi looks to land a combination but Rold avoids it well.

Rold throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jouppi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rold is in Jouppi's guard. Rold looking to pass the guard. Jouppi can't keep his opponent in guard - Rold advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rold is keen to just control but Jouppi is a slippery customer. Rold looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Rold is just content to waste time from the top position. Jouppi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rold working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jouppi's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rold is looking to work some ground and pound but Jouppi has wrist control. Rold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jouppi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jouppi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rold working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rold drops back looking for a leg! Jouppi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jouppi manages to kick Rold off! Rold jumps back into Jouppi's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Enrique Rold will probably get the nod. That's time! Jouppi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rold throws the kick towards the body but Jouppi avoids it. Rold shoots for a takedown but Jouppi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rold moves out of range of the strikes. Jouppi stuffs the takedown attempt from Rold. Rold gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rold thows a leg kick but Jouppi checks it and Jouppi counters with a nice body shot. Jouppi throws a good cross that connects.

Rold wants to control but Jouppi is keeping him busy. Rold in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Rold fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Let's hope he's not broken it!

Rold thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Jouppi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rold. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rold looking to control but Jouppi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Enrique Rold showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rold takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rold manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jouppi on his heels. He'll look to pass Jouppi's guard now, I'm sure. Rold won't allow Jouppi to get back to his feet. Rold looking to pass the guard. Rold forces his way into half guard. Rold is pressing down on Jouppi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jouppi is holding on for now. Enrique Rold is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jouppi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jouppi tries to get out of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christopher tests Aikawa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Christopher looks to score with a jab to the body but Aikawa is just out of range. Christopher takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Christopher thuds his shin into the meat of Aikawa's side. Christopher slips a jab and a cross from Aikawa.
Christopher lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aikawa at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aikawa shoots for a takedown but Christopher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aikawa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Taylor Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayhem sizes up Davis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Davis thows a body shot but no joy. Mayhem throws the left hand but Davis avoids the punch easily. Davis scores with a decent looking hook. Davis moves away from the strike by Mayhem. Mayhem finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mayhem takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Davis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mayhem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Davis throws out the jab. Davis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mayhem sees it coming and avoids it easily. Davis seems to have got his legs back now. Mayhem throws a lazy right hand but Davis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mayhem buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Socha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ross misses with a series of wild punches.
Ross misses with a leg kick and Socha counters with a takedown into side control. Ross avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Socha. Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Socha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ross tries to escape but Socha is in control. Ross avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Socha. Socha creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ross sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ross pushes Socha away and creates a bit of space to escape. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ross wants to stand and escape but Socha is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Socha controls the pace. Socha postures up in Ross's guard and throws a big left but Ross blocks it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Karl Socha. Socha looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Socha uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ross. Socha is looking to slow Ross down with leg kicks. Ross walks into a stiff left hand from Socha. Socha closes the distance and clinches. Socha tries to throw a body punch but Ross avoids it by throwing Socha back against the cage. Socha lands a left hand.
The cut above Nate Ross's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Ross's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Socha lands a body shot. Ross is trying to push Socha away but Socha has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ross tries to throw a body punch but Socha avoids it by throwing Ross back against the cage. Ross has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Socha. Ross stops a takedown attempt from Socha.
