Kennedy throws a leg kick which misses Matsumoto's front leg but catches the back leg as Matsumoto tries to avoid it.
Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Matsumoto sprawls well. Matsumoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet.
Matsumoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kennedy moves away.
Kennedy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
