Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, George Parxar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Duong Lam! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parxar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lam slaps away a takedown attempt from Parxar, before circling back to the center of the mat. Parxar tries to clinch up. Lam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parxar swivels and escapes. Nice takedown defense from Parxar. No joy for Lam on that attempt. Parxar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lam backs up against the cage.
Horrible takedown by Lam or perhaps it was just good defense by Parxar which made him look bad. George Parxar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duong Lam. The fight stays on the outside here - Parxar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lam pushes Parxar up against the cage in a clinch. Lam keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Parxar's efforts to push away. Lam has had enough of the clinch but Parxar keeps him there for the moment. Parxar throws a punch but it's blocked by Lam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parxar goes for a takedown attempt but Lam pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lam shoots in for a takedown but Parxar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lam misses with a series of wild punches.
Lam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parxar, pushing him back against the cage. Lam jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parxar walks away with a smile on his face. Lam gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Parxar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lam fails with a takedown attempt. Lam looks winded! Parxar throws a series of strikes that have Lam backpedaling.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Parxar throws a series of punches but Lam moves out of range. Parxar looks to land a combination but Lam avoids it well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lam. Parxar throws a series of punches but Lam moves out of range. Lam shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Parxar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lam circles away quickly and effectively. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sloppy strikes from Parxar. Those never looked like landing. Parxar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fight stays on the outside here - Lam looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lam moves into range and clinches up with Parxar. Parxar is looking to control Lam's arms but Lam gets an underhook and turns him. Now Parxar has his back to the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lam tries to pull guard but Parxar holds him up against the cage and eventually Lam drops back down to his feet.

Parxar displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lam up against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lam. Lam is trying to force a seperation but Parxar has the dominant position. Lam tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Parxar just stands there and leans against the cage. Parxar lands a right hand. Lam is trying to push Parxar away but Parxar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lam throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lam is working for takedown but Parxar is calmly controlling the position for now. Parxar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Parxar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Parxar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Parxar swats away the attempt to clinch by Lam. Parxar misses with a double jab
and Lam counters with a left and a right that stings Parxar. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parxar misses with the combination.
Lam has taken the fight to the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Parxar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lam shoots for a takedown but Parxar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Parxar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nice sprawl there from Parxar as Lam shoots in. Parxar throws a series of punches but Lam moves out of range. A solid body kick from Lam. Parxar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lam is fending him off so far but Parxar persists. Nope, Lam circles away and we're back to standing. Parxar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Parxar stuffs the takedown attempt from Lam. Lam gets slowly back to his feet. George Parxar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duong Lam. No joy there for Parxar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parxar sprawls well. Parxar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lam gets slowly back to his feet. Lam keeps the fight on the outside. Parxar has a takedown stuffed. Parxar tries to clinch there but Lam circles away.
Parxar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Parxar looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Parxar is looking to clinch. George Parxar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lam misses with a takedown attempt - Parxar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Parxar tries to close the distance and clinch but Lam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Parxar misses with a double jab
and Lam counters by clinching up. Parxar gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lam regains guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lam tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Parxar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lam moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice takedown defense from Parxar. No joy for Lam on that attempt. Lam tries to clinch but Parxar is having none of it. Lam dodges the punch combination from Parxar.
Parxar lands with a nice combination. Lam backs away looking to recover. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parxar throws a right and a left that Lam avoids nicely. Lam displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Parxar throws a right hand that Lam ducks under and follows up with a left that Lam also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Parxar dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Parxar closes the distance but Lam moves to the side and Lam counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Lam lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lam fails to pull guard.
Parxar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lam gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A short right from Parxar on the inside. Lam jumps guard but Parxar stands there with Lam around his waist. Lam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Parxar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lam swats away the attempt to clinch by Parxar. Parxar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Parxar lands a jab-cross combination. George Parxar is winning the standup battle so far. Parxar throws a right and a left that Lam avoids nicely. Lam tries a head kick but it misses.

Parxar feints a jab promting Lam to slip. Parxar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Parxar looks to land a combination. Lam sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Parxar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Parxar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parxar swivels and escapes. No joy there for Parxar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

And that's the end of the fight! George Parxar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Parxar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Segredos did well to prevent Parxar getting side control. Parxar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Parxar moves into the clinch. Parxar drags the fight down to the ground.

Kostas Parxar has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Segredos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Segredos is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Segredos scores with a leg kick.
Segredos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parxar swats him away and circles back towards the center. A combination from Parxar does no damage. Segredos with a lazy takedown attempt and Parxar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Parxar. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stelios Segredos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parxar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Parxar seems to be working for a kimura but Segredos defends the submission attempt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Parxar winds up and cracks Segredos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
