Johnson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Paltiguera throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Demarques Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Paris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Paris leaves Hembdo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Echobeach tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Okami paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Okami misses with a two punch combination.

Okami is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Echobeach's half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Okami tries to pass the half guard into mount. Echobeach knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Okami tries a low kick but Echobeach avoids it.
Echobeach tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Okami manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Echobeach can't get the takedown.
Okami is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Echobeach is defending well.
Echobeach tries a knee to the head but Okami blocks it.
Okami is trying to pull guard but Echobeach has him pressed against the cage.
Echobeach throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Okami blocks it with crossed arms.

Echobeach wants the takedown. Okami is fighting it off but Echobeach persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Okami's guard against the cage.
Okami looking for a sweep. Not yet Okami, not yet.
Echobeach trying to control but Okami is working from the bottom.

Echobeach drops back, looking for a kneebar! Okami looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Okami looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Okami!

Okami has hold of Echobeach's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Echobeach seems comfortable defending it but Okami has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Echobeach is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Echobeach is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Okami couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Missa Okami!

Ota tries to clinch up but Dummy circles away and keeps his distance.
Ota tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Dummy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dummy postures up.
Dummy stands and throws Ota's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Dummy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dummy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ota sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ota wants to get back to his feet.

Dummy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ota rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dummy's guard! Nice work there by Ota!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ota is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dummy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ota is looking to defend but Dummy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ota! Dummy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ota taps out and this one is all over!

Harvey lands a high kick!
Cain comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harvey.
Harvey lands a high kick!
Cain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harvey circles away quickly and effectively.
A solid body kick from Harvey.
Harvey with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cain blocks the body kick.
Harvey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Harvey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Harvey lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cain at a distance.
Cain is breathing heavily.
Cain missing with a left hand there. Harvey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cain takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Cain swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Harvey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cain looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Harvey lands with a slapping head kick.

Cain is rocked!
Harvey dances in with a quick combination. Cain is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Harvey snaps Cain's head back. Cain stumbles backwards against the cage. Harvey steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Cain's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Cain just didn't come prepared.
