7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Fistface! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Stevens! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fistface shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stevens counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fistface closes the distance and lands a one-two. Stevens tries a low kick but Fistface avoids it. Fistface shoots in for a takedown but Stevens shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fistface misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fistface, as that shot connected.
Fistface throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fistface scores with the left hand. Stevens knows he should have avoided that one. Stevens keeps the fight on the outside. Matt Fistface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fistface moves into range and clinches up with Stevens. Stevens manages to break the clinch.
Stevens jabs Fistface right on the nose. Fistface blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Matt Fistface has been cut. Fistface looks to score with a jab to the body but Stevens is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stevens on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jab, jab by Fistface - just one landing. Fistface scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Stevens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nice shot by Fistface. This has been an exciting period of action! Stevens scores with a three punch combo!
Stevens on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fistface cracks Stevens with a hook to the temple - Stevens is on wobbly legs here! Fistface swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Stevens falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Fistface wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donald throws a nice looking combination but Qushairy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Donald stuffs the takedown. Qushairy throws a leg kick but Donald sees it coming and moves out of range. Donald throws an overhand right that lands on Qushairy's shoulder, as Qushairy tries to avoid the shot. Qushairy fails with a takedown attempt. Donald lands a left and a right that send Qushairy crashing to the mat, dazed. Donald thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Qushairy is rocked!
It looks like Fitry Qushairy has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Donald fakes the body blow, causing Qushairy to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Qushairy goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams cracks O Donnell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Williams scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
O Donnell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams. O Donnell tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. O Donnell is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Williams is keen to just control but O Donnell is a slippery customer. Williams tries to pass the half guard into mount. O Donnell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Peekay Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground. Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A big right from O Donnell misses. O Donnell moves out of range of the body kick from Williams.
O Donnell misses the shot to the body. Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. O Donnell is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Peekay Williams dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
O Donnell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but O Donnell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Williams scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. O Donnell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
O Donnell thows a body shot but no joy. O Donnell checks a leg kick. Williams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O Donnells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! O Donnell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. Williams connects with a crisp jab. O Donnell just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams slips a jab from O Donnell. Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing. A jab from Williams does it's job there. Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches O Donnell on the side of the head. Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams cracks O Donnell with a right hand to the side of the head. O Donnell throws a combination. Williams tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams misses the shot to the body. Williams drives through with a takedown into O Donnell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. O Donnell wants to sweep but no luck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kwiecinski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kwiecinski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. McCallum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kwiecinski tries to avoid it but McCallum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kwiecinski to the ground. Kwiecinski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McCallum lands an overhand right. Mike McCallum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCallum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A solid body kick from Kwiecinski. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCallum misses with an uppercut. Kwiecinski saw that one coming. McCallum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kwiecinski as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike McCallum. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCallum takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McCallum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McCallum closes the distance and clinches up with Kwiecinski, looking for a takedown. That could be painful for both fighters. Kwiecinski forces McCallum back against the cage and clinches. Kwiecinski is defending well against a takedown attempt. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hussey's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Hussey is retaining full guard.
