The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelavic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kulakov shoots and misses and Jelavic counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kulakov's guard now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jelavic throws a big elbow that misses. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skunk wants to clinch up but The Reaper keeps it at a distance. The Reaper pushes Skunk away with a front kick. The Reaper lands a jab. The Reaper will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Reaper stuffs the takedown. Skunk slips under a jab from The Reaper. The Reaper throws a combination that misses so Skunk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Skunk with a flurry of punches that miss. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson cracks Adamek with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Adamek tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Adamek slips under a jab. Adamek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anderson as he jumps to the side. A leg kick checked by Adamek. Adamek avoids a punch combination nicely.

Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anderson, as that shot connected.
Anderson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut. Anderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Adamek ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Adamek shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomasz Adamek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Adamek.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortune dives in and grabs McFey's left leg, looking for a takedown. McFey pushes down on Fortune's head and hops out. Fortune pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McFey back to the cage. Fortune follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Fortune jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McFey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A swing and a miss from Fortune. Fortune stuns McFey with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fortune throws a head kick that misses and McFey counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fortune lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. McFey has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fortune is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McFey. The strikes coming from Fortune are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Fortune working away. Fortune wants to lay and pray for a moment but McFey keeps working. Fortune working away. McFey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. That's going to take a lot out of him. Matah changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thorpe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Right on cue, Thorpe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Belin Billet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. MacRally lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Billet backs up against the cage.
Billet fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A telegraphed right hand from Billet misses the target. Billet scoring well with a low kick there.
MacRally rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Billet moves out of range and avoids them all easily. MacRally lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Troyer is fighting it off but Cloltran persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Troyer's guard against the cage.
