The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OReilly feints and as Gaarlandt raises his hands in defense, OReilly changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
OReilly with a flurry of punches that miss.
Gaarlandt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OReilly throws a strike but Gaarlandt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gaarlandt wants to control from the top but OReilly keeps moving.

Gaarlandt got a little sloppy there for a moment and OReilly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaarlandt has managed to get both his arms back between OReilly's legs - danger averted.

Possibly an early stoppage but Gaarlandt doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Javans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gaarlandt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Javans cracks Gaarlandt with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Gaarlandt falls to his knees and Javans doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
