Shimizu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shimizu throws a pinpoint strike between Mcdonald's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mcdonald crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Shimizu scores a great knockout victory!

Gibbs drives through and clinches with Farmery against the cage.
Gibbs is trying to pull guard but Farmery turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gibbs pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Gibbs content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Gibbs lands an elbow just above Farmery 's eye.
Gibbs tries to circle away but Farmery has him pinned against the cage.
Farmery tries to score a body lock takedown but Gibbs shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Gibbs throws a head kick that misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gibbs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Farmery slaps away a takedown attempt from Gibbs, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Gibbs fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Farmery is out of range.

Gibbs dives in and grabs Farmery's left leg, looking for a takedown. Farmery pushes down on Gibbs's head and hops out.

Gibbs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gibbs doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Farmery counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gibbs won't be happy with that.
Gibbs is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Farmery has hold of Gibbs's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gibbs tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Farmery cranks the arm and Gibbs screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gibbs, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manueli Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Abelardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manueli Khan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Manueli Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abelardo throws an overhand right that lands on Khan's shoulder, as Khan tries to avoid the shot.
Khan looks to land a right hand but Abelardo moved out of range.
Abelardo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Khan.
Abelardo fakes the leg kick and cracks Khan in the body.
Abelardo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Abelardo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Abelardo lands a leg kick that knocks Khan off balance momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abelardo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Abelardo lands a big head kick that sends Khan tumbling to the mat! Abelardo takes a step backwards and waves Khan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Manueli Khan has been cut.
Khan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Khan will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Khan drops his hands momentarily. Abelardo doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Khan staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Khan doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
