The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlad rushes Smokeleaf and presses him up against the cage. Vlad with a knee to the head.

Vlad drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smokeleaf gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A nice right hand lands inside from Vlad. Vlad lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Smokeleaf is rocked! Vlad pushes Smokeleaf back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Smokeleaf is still on wobbly legs! Can Vlad finish him? Vlad turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vlad manages to end up in side control. Smokeleaf seems to have recovered his senses. The referee asks Vlad politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vlad prefers to stall for the moment though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vlad trying to control the position but Smokeleaf is working away. Vlad stands up and we're back to a striking position. Nice shot by Vlad. Smokeleaf tries a head kick but it misses.

Smokeleaf pushes off an throws an elbow but Vlad leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Vlad crunches a lovely knee into Smokeleaf's ribcage. Smokeleaf is pressed up against the cage. Vlad has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smokeleaf down to the mat. Smokeleaf avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olbrzymi Vlad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vlad connects with a stiff jab that staggers Smokeleaf - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Johnson wants to clinch but Pope slips to the side and Pope counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Pope passes into half guard. Ground and pound from Pope. Johnson is looking to control Pope's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnson avoid being mounted? Pope has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pope's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pope's back! Pope turns into Johnson and is now in his guard.

Pope in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Johnson wants to sweep here but Pope controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pope's guard.

Pope is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily. Pope tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Pope trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Johnson manages to pass to mount!
Pope is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Johnson with shots to the head and body - Pope looks very uncomfortable down there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pope is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Johnson with the ground and pound from mount.

Haffa sizes up Tatum with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Haffa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A left and a right from Haffa both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Drederick Tatum has been cut. Haffa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Haffa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

A chopping leg kick lands by Tatum. Haffa walks into a straight right hand from Tatum. Haffa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tatum checks it well. Haffa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tatum defends it nicely. Haffa slips under a jab from Tatum. Tatum doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That kick from Haffa tenderised Tatum's leg. Tatum is trying to keep his angry face on. Haffa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Haffa takes one on the button. Tatum misses with a straight left. Tatum throws a shot from downtown. Haffa moves away and avoids it.

and Haffa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tatum thinking. Haffa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tatum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haffa circles away quickly and effectively. Haffa dives in and grabs Tatum's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tatum pushes down on Haffa's head and hops out. Haffa is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tatum rather than just go for the knockout. Haffa throws a jab but it's blocked by Tatum. Good standup being displayed there by Tatum as he connects with a hook. Tatum does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Haffa misses with an uppercut
and Tatum counters with a straight right hand. Haffa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Haffa misses the body punch and Tatum counters with a nice leg kick. Haffa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Haffa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tatum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Haffa somewhat. Tatum scores with a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haffa moves away from the strike by Tatum. Haffa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tatum swivels and escapes. Haffa staying out of range there. Tatum scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Haffa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Haffa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tatum defending well as Haffa loads up on a big left hand. Tatum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haffa. Tatum lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haffa at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tatum misses with a looping right. Haffa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Haffa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tatum swivels and escapes. Tatum scores with the left hand. Haffa knows he should have avoided that one. Haffa is looking to clinch but Tatum is avoiding it.

Haffa is still in real trouble! Can Tatum finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tatum wants to stand but Haffa is controlling his arm. Tatum stands up and beckons Haffa to his feet. Tatum avoids the body shot from Haffa.
Haffa defending well as Tatum loads up on a big left hand. Tatum ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tatum drops Haffa with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tatum follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drederick Tatum! Drederick Tatum really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's All 160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Not much technique there but it did the business. Mauser tests Poochyena's chin there with a solid looking shot. Poochyena slips a jab and a cross from Mauser.

Pettersson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Pettersson scores with a kick to the midsection. Masters drops his hands momentarily and Pettersson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Tony Masters has been cut. The fight moves into the clinch position. Masters throws a punch but it's blocked by Pettersson. Masters successfully pulls guard.

That sent Masters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. This has been an exciting period of action! Masters feints and then cracks Pettersson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pettersson down. Masters throws out a leg kick but Pettersson moves out of range and Masters only half commits. Masters is looking to land body kicks. Pettersson is looking to land body kicks. Pettersson is looking to score with low kicks. Masters fails with a takedown attempt. Christer Pettersson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pettersson catches Masters with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pettersson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Masters throws a big shot that misses. Pettersson forces Masters back against the cage and clinches. Pettersson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Masters has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A frustrated look appears on Masters's face as he tries to break the clinch. Masters lands a hook that snaps the head of Pettersson backwards. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Pettersson is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Masters has denied him. Masters lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pettersson backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Masters. Pettersson takes a shot to the head. Pettersson blocks an uppercut.

Masters has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masters looking for subs off his back but Pettersson has passed one foot through into half guard.

Tony Masters's cut is getting worse. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pettersson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masters has 5 minutes to recover. Pettersson throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lazy left from Pettersson finds it's target. Pettersson looks for the body kick but Masters saw that one coming. Masters takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pettersson. Masters lands a nice hook to Pettersson's body. Pettersson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Pettersson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Masters throws out a powerful jab. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Masters steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pettersson. That one must have hurt. Pettersson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Pettersson throws out a powerful jab.

Lamotta ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lamotta cracks Grossman with a good jab. Grossman throws a combination that misses and Lamotta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grossman won't be happy with that. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lamotta works to advance to full mount. Grossman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Grossman wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lamotta.
