The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Knight struggling a bit here.

Lewis lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Knight down.

A big shot lands for Lewis! That's hurt Knight! Will he recover? Lewis fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Macon misses with a takedown attempt

and Lewis counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Macon!
Macon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lewis scores with a couple of short elbows.
Macon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lewis working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Macon is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lewis lands a big left to the face of Macon, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Lewis and another - Macon is out! Lewis stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Jacobs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thomas avoids it really well and circles away.
Jacobs looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Some wild striking there from Jacobs.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jacobs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jacobs is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
Thomas fails in his attempt to clinch.

Thomas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jacobs manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Let's hope that Thomas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Thomas might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Quaron Thomas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Horrible takedown by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacobs which made him look bad.

Cole closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cole thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cole tries to move to mount but Jennings blocks the move with his legs.

Adam Cole showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cole, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
