Jones distracts Loow with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Loow dives on top into guard.
Loow trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loow engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Loow defends it easily.
Loow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Loow should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jones has tightened it up now! Loow should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

It looks like Lu Kuan has been cut.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butikol throws a right and a left that both miss.
Butikol misses with a body shot.
Butikol looks to land a combination but Deersworth avoids it well.
Butikol fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Deersworth manages to avoid it.
Deersworth slips a jab from Butikol.
A looping hook to the body misses from Deersworth. Butikol does a little dance to reset his feet.
Deersworth takes one to the side of the head.
Butikol lands a nice shot that snaps Deersworth's head back.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Butikol.
Deersworth moves to clinch but Butikol breaks away
and Butikol counters with a left to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Deersworth takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Deersworth tries to close the distance and clinch but Butikol swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Enting Butikol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Butikol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Butikol and Deersworth are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Butikol throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Deersworth into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Butikol knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
