The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crocop displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Power throws out the jab. Two Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crocop throws a right hand that Power ducks under and follows up with a left that Power also avoids with ease. Power misses the shot to the body. Power throws a body punch but Crocop moves out of range. Crocop misses with the combination.

Crocop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Power circles away quickly and effectively. Crocop uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Power. A looping hook to the body misses from Power. Crocop does a little dance to reset his feet. Crocop lands with a slapping head kick. Some wild striking there from Power.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Power loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crocop controls Power momentarily but Power frees himself. Power in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Power throwing strikes but missing. Crocop utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Power throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crocop works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Power content to stall in guard here. Power with a nice head shot there.

Power landing some decent shots from guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Power with a nice head shot there. Crocop has Power pulled in close to control his posture. Crocop wants to sweep here but Power controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Power postures up and lands a big shot to Crocop's brow. Power scoring with punches to the head and body. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Power's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Two Power dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jab, jab by Power - just one landing. Power throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Power throws out a loose jab but Crocop uses good head movement to avoid it. Crocop slips under a jab from Power. Mirko Crocop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crocop throws a right hand that Power ducks under and follows up with a left that Power also avoids with ease. Crocop throws a hook but Power blocks it. Crocop goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Power throws a good cross that connects.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Power thows a body shot but no joy. Power misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crocop with a hook. A punch combination from Power misses. Power bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Power grinds an elbow into Crocop's temple. Power looks up at the clock and then as Crocop takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Power smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Power working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Crocop tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Power wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Power working the head and body with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Power scores with punches from side control.
Crocop is rocked! Power is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crocop knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Oh Crocop is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Power cracks Crocop with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Power immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Crocop is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Power!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Grimnar does no damage. Grimnar shoots for a takedown but Shields saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grimnar feints a jab promting Shields to slip. Grimnar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shields slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Shields gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Grimnar counters with a head kick. Grimnar has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shields is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Grimnar is defending well. Shields can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Shields. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grimnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shields enables Grimnar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shields manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Grimnar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shields throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pittana loads up on a big right hand but Zanotto slips the punch. Pittana connects with a looping right hand.
Pittana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zanotto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pittana swings for the body but Zanotto moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zanotto on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A big left from Zanotto misses. Pittana paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Pittana lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Zanotto is looking to close the distance but Pittana sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Zanotto crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Zanotto is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tippin is looking to land body kicks. Tippin cracks Ivanov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ivanov looks for a takedown but Tippin sprawls well. Ivanov shoots in looking for a takedown. Tippin tries to sprawl out of it but Ivanov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tippin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tippin digs a good hook to Ivanov's body.

Tippin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ivanov on his heels. He'll look to pass Ivanov's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wallace sprawls well initially but Sparks persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Wallace wants to get back to full guard. Sparks is pressing down on Wallace's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wallace is holding on for now. Sparks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wallace doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sparks. Wallace wants to improve his position but Sparks is controlling well.
