The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Van Damned enables Mcdonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Van Damned manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Van Damned trying to control the position.
Van Damned is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Jean Claude Van Damned has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Van Damned is looking to clinch but Mcdonald is avoiding it.

It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mcdonald jumps into side control! Mcdonald trying to control the action but Van Damned is working from the bottom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. You get the feeling that Van Damned really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Van Damned is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Van Damned can do anything to dispel that myth. Van Damned takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Mcdonald's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gumbirium is pushing Silva's head away, looking to escape. Silva manages to hold on to the position though. Silva misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gumbirium wants to control but Silva postures up. Gumbirium taking punishment in the form of punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva wants to hold on but Gumbirium pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gumbirium controlling his opponent. Gumbirium lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Gumbirium looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gumbirium takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Manny Gumbirium overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Silva tries to hold on but Gumbirium postures up. Gumbirium breaks from Silva's wrist control and lands an elbow. Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Silva tries to improve his position but instead Gumbirium has taken his back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gumbirium keeps control of the position easily here as Silva tries to buck him off.
The referee is taking a good look at Silva as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Gumbirium!
And that's the end of the fight! Manny Gumbirium showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gumbirium, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruskov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tung scores with a nice right hand.

Ruskov throws a front kick aimed at Tung's knee but Tung avoids it well. Tung lands a nice shot that snaps Ruskov's head back.
It looks like Fabio Ruskov has been cut. Tung lands a right hook to the body.
Tung Rushes Ruskov and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ruskov is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Tung Piles on the pressure and Ruskov crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
